The bar is set high. This was my first experience with authentic, German cuisine in-country. And it did not disappoint. The food was great, the mood and environment were authentic. A great, little local place in a very cool traditional building. My only wish is that I could go back, but my itinerary will not permit. If you are in the area, definitely check it out. Great, friendly service too.

We had a good dinner there. It was a very busy night, we didn't have a reservation, but being only 2 people, were seated with another group. The service was as fast as possible under the circumstances, we didn't have to wait too long. But would recommend to ring ahead and secure a table.

it was very busy and we had no reservation, we expected the worst, but were pleasantly surprised how they found a nice place for me and my wife.the food was good, not your standard burger fare, but with a twist such as the Thai style Tartar

Couple years ago "Zum Erker" was chosen for our wedding.Because of our guestlist it was almost impossible to satisfy everybodys need and wishes. The crew did it anyway.Booking, Frontdesk, decoration/preparation of the tables....5Star+ level

Farm-Shop opened all year on 3 Days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) | Biergarten: May to October | Lappland-Zelt (Flammlachs): October to April | Fest-Boden: All year
To simply try it out and check out the "hymns of praise" from my circle of acquaintances. That drove me to the "Fischmaster" in summer. The quality of the fish which is offered there from own breeding is simply "world class". This is due to the fact that the owner is a smart head who, probably out of his hobby, has made a profitable fish farm. The fact that he has obviously not only made a profit, but also nature conservation and energy efficiency, can these be devided at all (?), would be undeniable even for the most ignorant of all current state leaders. You tourists, especially those in your home country who are also engaged in (food) fish farming. Go there, enjoy the fish and see how it works that profit and environmental protection do not exclude each other.

Our restaurant with its outdoor terrace offers not only a unique view, but also a rich selection of dishes of the highest quality. Especially pasta and steaks belong to our specialty.
We've been twice and the second time was even better than the first. The restaurant is comfortable, light & airy. You can watch the barges go by on the Main. The service for us is good & friendly, apparently not for everybody if you believe the reviews. Wine & beer are good. The food is good. The meats are well cooked and of high quality. You need to work through the menu to determine what it is you like. The deserts are very good. If we were to criticise at all it would be that the starters don't match what comes after. Is it expensive? It's not cheap, but we frequent restaurants who ask much more. The reviewers who seem to expect wagyu beef for a low price might need to adjust their expectations to reality.
