We were very impressed by the menu, which highlighted regional as well as seasonal offerings, thus ensuring that the food would be fresh and delicious. Despite ours being a good size group with lots of different preferences, we all found something that made us happy.

Nice concept for breakfasts, you just order what you want! Much better than the typical list of various combinations with cryptic names, where you first have to work out which combo is the nearest to what you really do fancy;-)Will certainly be returning.

The salad for starter was a bit of a disappointment but the rumpsteak with pfefferlinge was quite nice. I wouldn't drive 10km to go here but since I stay in the hotel it was a good choice.

Wer noch die wirkliche Kneipe im Dorf sucht ist hier richtig. Man fühlt sich um Jahre zurück versetzt. Eben eine echt Kneipe. Essen wie es hier hin gehört. Das Rumpsteak ist ein Gedicht. Aber auch die Schnitzel sind sehr zu empfehlen. Ich hoffe das das super nette Betreiberpaar genug Gäste hat damit dieses Einod auch in Zukunft erhalten bleibt. Die Bewertung gilt hier ausdrücklich für die Uhrigkeit. Gerne wieder.

This place was recommended to us by our hotel manager because the hotel restaurant closes on Sundays. It was only 10 minutes away on foot very easy to find due to its location on the high street of this lovely little town. The place was quite busy; families of three generations, couples as well as those who were only having something to drink at the bar. We were quite friendly greeted and shown to our table. We choose our starters, mains and desserts; BIG MISTAKE as the waitress did say that the portions were quite big that we chose to ignore, but accepted her recommendation of the specialty of the day. The food was just great; a little too big of a potion to my tase but we have been warned and chose to ignore it. The wine was just the right choice and the "hefeweissen" beer was the star of the evening for me. One can tell that the food was home cooked and freshly prepared.The waitress asked us with a cute smile on her face if we wanted a "dogy bag" offering us an "Obstler" on the house; a German snapps that really works wonders for digestion. That all came at an amazingly acceptable price. It is good to know that one can still go out for a good meal without going bankrupt. This is the good thing about such small towns outside Frankfurt, they are full of such gems; great service and excellent food and drink at affordable prices .

Die neue Location passt, Pommes waren gut. Schöner wären noch selbstgemachte Saucen anstatt Ketchup und Co. aus der Flasche. Die Teller passen nicht ganz zum Style - auch wenn sie modern sind ;-)

Von Freunden den Tip bekommen, dass man hier gut Essen kann. Es hat sich gelohnt. Als Ausflugslokal mit Fahrrad kann ich es mir hier sehr gut vorstellen. Einen Biergarten gibt es, sowie natürlich auch Räumlichkeiten. :-) Aufmerksames Personal und leckere Gerichte runden das Bild schön ab. Bestimmt kommen wir wieder. Auch mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen.

When we feel like having some local food for dinner then we head to Sterkel in Urberach. Ambience and presentation is perhaps a bit old-fashioned but the quality of food is great. Nothing fancy but simply really well made food. Rumpsteaks are always perfect, so is other meat. And friendly service! I would always recommend it to people who value good cooking because it is not so easy to be found.

We've been in the restaurant several times. As well we booked it for an event with 30 people. The food quality is very high and the service is good. You can book this restaurants for events and they will offer you different menues. It is enough to eat for everyone and you get a nice looking table.Location is in the cityhall of Urberach. But beside the strange location in the restaurant you will feel you are in an restaurant. The tables outside are ok but you should know that at daytimes some people might walk by.What i specially like is the quality of fish and meat dishes. If you like a good beefsteak or any kind of grilled meat/fish you are at the right location. I would choose this restaurant over a steakhouse. As well the dishes with vegetables and other stuff taste very good.Prices are fair and you can have good food for ok prices. You can access the restaurant with a wheelchair.On weekend and public holidays you should make a reservation via phone.
