went there with some colleagues and truly had an enjoyable eveningrather small but sufficient menue, quality instead of quantitygreat starters, especially the sword fish with wasabifilet as main course also was excellent, hard choice since the Tafelspitz was also very temptingfriendly and attentive servicefilet as the main selection was outstandingwine selection shows the owner's heritage, he is austrian (from vienna to be accurate!)we had a "banfalu" cuvee from Sepp MoserKrombacher Pils on tab, comes at the right temperature and goes down goodeasy to find and parking is no problemsurely we will be back

nothing fancy but friendly, well spoken english, english menue, good food and service, reasonable price - overall a good deal for some decent traditional german bratwurst (and other food) when you do not need Michelin-* cuisinei go there again

... ist hier immer wieder überraschend für uns fest zu stellen. Wir waren in den letzten Monaten nun schon mehrfach Abends zum Essen mit Freunden hier. Da ist es auch kein Problem noch Abendessen zwischen 21 und 22 h zu bekommen. Es gibt eine reichhaltige Speisekarten mit schmackhaften Gerichten zum guten Preis. Man merkt gar nicht, das es der Treffpunkt für Sportler ist. Es kommen hier offensichtlich viel mehr Gäste, die mit aktiven Sport nicht gerade unterwegs waren. Es einfach sehr angenehm hier das Essen zu genieÃen, oder einfach mal nur ein Bier oder ein Glas Wein zu trinken.

We had a great time here for dinner. The fare was tasty and well prepared. A bit more expensive, but worth every penny for what you get. The staff was awesome and took great care of us.

Wir waren hier mit der Familie und mussten leider ewig (2 Stunden) auf das Essen warten. Die Auswahl des Essens war ok. Es gab eine vegane Vorspeise, eine Tomatensuppe, und einen veganen Burger. Dies hat mich positiv überrascht. Das Essen, auch die Fleischgerichte, waren vom Geschmack her in Ordnung. Nichts AuÃergewöhnliches, aber auch nicht schlecht. Die Bedienung war etwas forsch. Nach Beschwerde über die lange Wartezeit, wurde sich damit entschuldigt, dass man das Essen ja frisch zubereite. Das lasse ich allerdings so nicht gelten, denn ich war schon in vielen Restaurants, in denen das Essen frisch war und nach kürzerer Zeit gebracht wurde. Als Entschuldigung gab es zudem Ramazzotti aufs Haus. Auch das bekam ich in anderen Restaurants schon als selbstverständlich nach dem Essen ohne vorherige Mängel. Der Koch, der zu uns herauskam, wirkte auÃerdem angetrunken.Fazit: ich werde hier nicht mehr hingehen. Einmal und nie wieder!

Nette Bedienung, einfach die Speisekarte aber gutes Essen, Lage an der StraÃe und am Bahnhof aber super wenn man nicht so Anspruchsvoll ist.

A hidden gem in small Egelsbach! It was not the first time we dined here and it's been a taste blast like all other times we were here. Fresh ingredients, food inspired by (German) tradition but every course has a unique innovation twist. The chef is not afraid of daring and it pays out!Seasonal menu which is a really good thing since it changes every time we go there. Never gets boring and never disappointing. Quite on the contrary, we always want to come back! This is seriously high cuisine!VIELEN DANK. Wir werden auch weiterhin unser bestes geben.

You probably aren't in Lagen as a tourist; you are probably visiting one of the many businesses located here, as I was. There did not seem to be many culinary choices near us, but we found this one, which I would rate as "worth a special trip." The waitress dealt patiently with our inability to understand only a litlle German; if you don't know any German at all, take a phrase book, or a German, along with you. Everyone in our party of four was very pleased with their choices. I had a dish of chicken livers prepared perfectly in a magnificent sauce. If you find yourself anywhere near this place, go there.

This is a very nice traditional restaurant restaurant but with some exotic extras on the menu. I had a steak with chili butter and my company had a couscous salad with tomato, mint and grilled turkey which you would not expect in this restaurant. Everything was very tasty and the service was excellent, too although the restaurant was quite busy. Definitely a place to stop by.
