Reviews on German food in Bad Homburg, Hesse, Germany. Just north of Frankfurt at the foot of the Taunus Mountains, Bad Homburg has been treasured for its healing baths since the 19th century, when it hosted royalty from across Europe and the world. Of course they also came for its casino, sometimes called "the mother of Monte Carlo." Today, both the original Spa Park (or Kurpark) and the Bad Homburg Casino are still here, and visitors also enjoy Bad Homburg Castle and its White Tower. Just northwest of town is Saalburg, a restored Roman fort.

Delicious food and very good service. Is actually a 100% Italian restaurant with delicious Italian specialties. All kinds of wines, of course not cheap but worth trying. Pasta home made, try the one with truffles. Restaurant in -1 level, but no problem because there is a nice garden to sit and enjoy the place.

Went to this restaurant with local "Stammgaeste" (regular clients) and enjoyed the unique atmosphere in a house built almost 150 years ago, in the forest of Taunus, walking distance from Bad Homburg. We enjoyed traditional German food and a very attentive service of an international team of waiters. An ideal place for a get together with family or friends, possibly to combine with a walk in the Taunus. Prices are surely value for money.Looking forward to the next visit!

Very nice restaurant near the russian chapel wunderful terrasse french / international , very good for parties, receptions cosy athmosphere in the wintertime and in sommer very nice and calm terrasse.
We organized a party with friends in this restaurant and everything went well: good food, nice service and table settings. Guests were really satisfied. It is a bit pricey, especially the wine. The surroundings are unique, in the middle of the central park of Bad Homburg, and facing a small old golf course.

Iâve been here several times before, always pleased, but not this time. Service and beer same as usual (and very good), but this time i was disappointed about the food. Uninspiring, made without care. Roasted potatoes burnt, wienersnitzel tasted like it was readymade from frost. Maybe the chef had a bad day; for sure i had

Tasty and smart creations from mostly local top-quality food - the so-called new German cuisine is fully in line with the trend. We cook traditional German dishes, but also gently revolutionise them. As a guest you will recognise the dish and still be cur

Booked in advance, arrived on time, waited 15 minutes just to get a menu. Using 37 different fonts in a single menu is not cool, just stupidly confusing and childish. Not asked until a futher 10 minutes had elapsed whether we would like anything to drink. After 45 minutes someone took a food order. After 90 minutes we got food. There was no apology for the delay, so naturally there was no tip either. My chanterelle mushroom omelette was terribly over-salted. My two companions liked their main courses. We did not bother with desert.

Enjoy a unique atmosphere between many original remembrances to the big apple-white Heinz Schenk such as the Bambi TV Prize, which he received for an excellent presentation, the original bar cabinet and the original bar lighting and many barbels by Heinz
Nice cozy place, with outdoor dining. Better suited for small groups than large gatherings. The Hamburger 'german way', with fried potatoes instead of the bun was hazardous but made to perfection. I would have gone back if I was not with a large group of 10 people for most of my two weeks in BH

A very pleasant surprise on a cold winter evening, this romantic restaurant with really good food and wine; I had a celery cream and a char fish with a curry sauce (a rather rare and tasty sweet water fish coming from circumpolar regions of Norway and Sweden), near a well suggested Riesling; both dishes, as well as the house starters were more than I expected, great cooking and friendly service; worth more visits :)
