We had a very enjoyable drink, and then meal at Zum Grunen Wald. It have a great outdoor location, and we found the people super friendly.

We loved this cozy, charming place. Had a lovely dinner of delicious pumpkin soup and onion tarte, (Flammkuchen), I love this Alsatioan dish and was surprised and happy to find it at this restaurant. It was delicious as was everything else we tried.

In the Kronberg old town. Sit outside on the nice terrace amongst the half timbered homes. The inside is designed more like a club than a cafe (lime green). Service is good (not great) and friendly. No English menu. Selections are varied from breakfast, salads, pasta, traditional dishes and some more international dishes (curry). I had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Good. Fresh. Chicken well prepared. Would be better with Less dressing, homemade croutons and shaved Parmesan.

Very special location, one of my favourites in the Rhine and Taunus area, even though there are many attractive locations in this area. The rating is because of the location, the food is okay, but there's room for improvement. On one side of the wooden colonial style villa there is a small romantic park with in the background the castle and on the other side there's a terrace with a view over the small city of Konigstein. We enjoy having breakfast there and feel like aristocrats. The breakfast is between 4 and 10 Euro's a person. The also offer Brunch on Sundays once in two weeks for 26 Euro's.

Fantastic food, outstanding service, great wine list. If the weather is nice, sit out on the covered patio.

I felt as if I was in a different world. The was absolutely amazing, we had the bortscht, wiernerschnitzl, spegehtini and a zucchini dish from the entrees section. Every bit from each was heavenly. Our server although he didn't speak English, which is no problem for me, was very nice, attentive and helpful. This restaurant is a hidden gem and if I ever come back to this little town I will absolutely be returning here. Thank you so much!

Nice and cosy atmosphere and foods are great. Normally, in German, restaurants serve casual dishes, but here is a bit more sophisticated. Maybe it is the reason why there is no much choice on the menu. Quality of house wine, I had Lugana, was also very nice.

Casual. Fine. Dining. A restaurant with passionate cuisine, strong focus on grill and health aspects for culinary delights and high-class yet welcoming atmosphere.
Beautiful setting and restaurant but odd that it was so empty on a Thursday night which meant that the was not much of a atmosphere. Menu is interesting and the food was excellent presented nicely. Staff were very friendly. It is pretty expensive but quality of food and location should be a one to command a price premium.

I had the chance to eat there 3 times as I stayed in the hotel. The first 2 times were excellent, especially for the beef filet. However, the last time I had the German speciality made of rolled/minced beef which gave me very strong stomach ache (food poisoning). The staff is extremely nice and professional. It was great to get as complimentary starter some bread with sliced meat and butter.

My wife and I are retired Canadian professionals living in Frankfurt for 18 months. Today, between Christmas and New Years Eve, it was overcast and foggy and wet, and we decided to explore the narrow cobblestone streets of the incredibly beautiful little towns of Kronberg and Konigstein, with their timeless estate/residences. We had made reservations at Miro's (highly recommended) because we assumed, rightly, that the local residents would be a good gastronomical influence! Miros is located on a hillside overlooking the valley below. The exterior is unassuming; the interior is very nicely decorated, warm and welcoming, with linen tablecloths. The owner himself seated us at a table with a view.If readers look at the comments on the attached photos, they will see why we were so delighted with the meal. The flavours and presentation were excellent. The ambience is such that families will enjoy dining, as well as couples looking for a memorable experience. (Why dine at other fine restaurants where the stuffy, stiff formality creates gastric ulcers?)The cost of the meals is entirely reasonable for the high quality and absolute professionalism. We will be back again to explore the menu. Bravo Mirwais!Thank you very much! You have to come back on a sunny day to take a look out of our windows an to see the great panorama. And of course, to explore the menu.We are looking forward to see you, kind regardsMiro
