The Neretva Valley is an area of outstanding beauty that speaks best for itself. Its wealth and spaciousness are an ornament of our country and a gift from God and nature. In the heart of this oasis, off the road between MetkoviÄ and Opuzen, there is a ho
We stopped for late evening meal after a long day on the road. We were made welcome and served some really delicious cream tomato soup and salad. The next morning we returned for breakfast and and ordered omelettes (ham and cheese) which were very nice and we appreciated the flavour of the local cheese. That was all "washed down" with excellent coffee. Good food - reasonable price -gracious host.

We had 3 lunches. The staff were very pleasant, and the food was great. We were there with kids, and tried Wiener schnitzel, pasta bolognese, chickenburger, chicken steak, pizzas, and chicken sticks. Everything was very good, except the fries, that were frozen potatos. They were good, well fried, but still, not as good as the meat.
Restaurant 'Burrito' is smoked in the center of Medjugorje (50 m from St. James's Church). In the traditionally furnished area, there are approximately 80 seating areas for guests with a covered terrace and an open kitchen. It is of the same international
A nicely decorated restaurant that offer various food options. We sat there twice, once for cafe and the other time for icecream. They were both excellent.

I spent a week in Medjugorje and ended up eating here most nights. I found the service and food quality good, and the prices very reasonable. I highly recommend their Cevapi (savory, local sausage) and their Lasagne Bolognese. However, I thought their pizza was below average. They have a large, private dining room in the back of the restaurant to accommodate 30 or so people, so that's a big plus if you're traveling with a large group. Finally, unlike most restaurants that prefer to give group tables one check and let the guests figure out how to divide it up, Tomato's waiters trust you to simply tell them what you ate and then bill you for only your portion as you prepare to depart. I loved that kind of trust. Excellent family eating location.

Thia place is very unique, they made fake village, authentic and with all kind of stone houses, pool, church, vineyard... It looks really interesting, european tourists are probably crazy for this type of resort. We were in Mostar and on the way back, we came here for a dinner.Restaurant is really big, it's decorated very nice, they even made a small creek inside... Their waiters are pleasant, they are quick and give you a big smile when they bring food. The only thing that is not so good is the most important one, and that is the food. We ordered soups and salad, they were fine. Nothing special but it was ok. And after that, we ordered big plate with few kinds of meat (beefsteak, rumpsteak, pork, lamb) and we were not so satisfied with this. The most of the meat was dry, rumpsteak was too grilled, pork was like chewing-gum, lamb was not tasty, only beefsteak was ok. But this kind of meat should be perfect, not just "ok"... We tried the desert, too. They made combination of 4 different cakes with fruits, it was really atractive and tasted very good. Obviously, the owners invested a lot of money in this place. I'm sure that lot of people visit this resort, it is near Medjugorje and it's really special place. If you ask me, I wouldn't allow that big buildings around Herceg village. It would be much more beautiful if those ugly buildings and their signs are minimum 500 meters far away from here. So the village would be isolated from all of that modern architecture...And if they start to make extra quality, authentic food, this place will become five-stars resort!! :-)
