Hershey, Pennsylvania, the home of the Hershey Chocolate Company, bills itself as "The Sweetest Place on Earth," and it's hard to imagine another city giving it a run for its money. The city was built on chocolate, as were the great majority of its attractions. Hershey's Chocolate World takes sweet tooths on a virtual tour of the Hershey factory, and Hersheypark allows kids and adults alike to frolic through a vast land of rollercoasters, waterslides and walking, life-sized chocolate bars.

Voted "Best New Restaurant" by Harrisburg Magazine in 2009, Piazza Sorrento is a modern Italian restaurant based on the "Old World" Italian recipes of the owner's family back in Italy. The Bolognese sauce they grew up on and the tradition of family is the cornerstone of the Piazza Sorrento dining experience. Dedicated to providing the finest in service, food, and wine at a fair and competitive price, Piazza Sorrento makes regional and classic Italian cuisine using premium local ingredients while keeping the history of the dish and region intact. Piazza Sorrento not only provides the best in authentic Italian cooking this side of the Atlantic, but also believes that all patrons, whether adults or children, should be welcomed like one big family - even those with certain dietary requirements. That is why Piazza Sorrento is widely known for their extensive Gluten Free menu, another reason patrons routinely drive over an hour or more to dine in relative ease and safety.
My family visited Hershey Chocolate World for my son's birthday. On my last trip to Hershey, I had identified Piazza Sorrento as a place to eat because of its high ratings. Unfortunately, I was unable to dine here on that last trip. I was thrilled to have the opportunity this time around.
We made reservations through OpenTable and arrived 30 minutes early. They seated us right away in a booth. Our server, Nate, was very pleasant. Our meals consisted of the - Chicken and Penne, Nonno Vincenzo Sausage & Peppers, and Garlic Shrimp Pasta. All three meals were delightful. There flavor combinations were superb.
These dishes tasted just as good (maybe better) the next day after the flavor seeped in some more.

Have visited here many times for cupcakes for birthdays, but finally bought a sheet cake. Paid more than other places, but well worth it. The cake was absolutely delicious. Marble with filling, and decorated with the college logo that my son is headed to. Everyone raved.

Au Bon Lieu is our second location in the area of greater Harrisburg. We specialize in authentic French crepes, the ones you are used to in Marseilles , Dijon, and Paris. Our ingredients are fresh, local and organic when possible. Our batter is made daily from scratch, and our ingredients are superior. Our prices are very reasonable(under$10), so bring family and friends, and come enjoy a taste of Paris right here in Hershey. PS: Please use street parking or turn into the 450 free parking spaces at the public parking on Linden St behind the Chocolate Story building. Thank you
The name "Au Bon Lieu" drew me in. I was curious to see how authentic the crepes tasted having lived in Paris for a few years. We had the #7 9Chicken with pesto sauce, tomato and mozzarella) and the #9 (Mozzarella with chicken, caramelised onion, and mushrooms). The crepes were good although mozzarella cheese is a bit bland compared to the cheese normally used in french crepes.
We were offered a lemon crepe by the owner. The lemon crepe was outstanding with a good blend of tartness and sweetness.
Parking is scarce. There is a parking lot in front of the store which is off the street. However, the majority of the slots are reserved for another restaurant and have a 30 minute time limit. There are a few places to park at the curb. Across the street there is a large public parking lot.

Great donut shop that sells some different very delicious donuts that are made to order. I have been to other Duck donut shops and this one appeared to be a little confused at the register. Other shops had a huge selection of popular donuts to choose from at the register. We ordered our donuts from the menu at the counter and the lady taking our order was not familiar with the donuts offered on the menu.

This was our first trip to the brewery and we were pleasantly surprised. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The beers we tried were all good. We also needed to eat dinner. The choices weren’t plentiful but we enjoyed what we ordered and the serving size was enough to fill us up. Worth a stop.

We came here hoping for traditional breakfast or brunch. There were numerous breakfast selections, but other than a cheese omelette, there were no egg options. We thought that to be odd. On the other hand, the menu offered many options for special diets--vegan, gluten free, etc. But since we're not hipsters, nor are we overly aware of current diet trends, Hershey Pantry probably will not be our go to place for future outings to Hershey. Nonetheless, we manged to find something on the menu that appealed to us and the service was great. Keep in mind that this place is very small so at peak times, it's hard to get a table.

A traditional ice cream parlor combined with a cafe style restaurant featuring pizza, authentic Philly steaks, subs and salads. Also open for breakfast Saturday and Sunday
Had pizza, which was good, but nothing special. Stopped back later for ice cream and good, I mean ice cream can't be bad, right? Good atmosphere, the guys there were nice and joking around with us. Not a bad little place, in walking distance from...MoreThan you for doing local !! And for staying at the Days In.

After a few hours of driving from our hometown to Hershey, we (my wife, two kids and myself) went to Hershey's Chocolate World and had lots of fun. But, at the end we were also tired and hungry. Especially after smelling all of those delicious chocolate aromas at HCW. During my trip planning, I had done some research, and found this restaurant to be interesting. It is located close to the park/store, it has moderate prices and best of all... it is local! First of all, it has great service! The restaurant was almost full, but we did not wait for a table. We did not have a reservations. The waitress interacted with our kids and she even talked to them in Spanish after overhearing our conversation. After only a few minutes, we had our orders on the table. One of my kids ordered the Mac-n-Cheese with brocolli (not very good), the other one ordered the Chicken strips with fries (good), my wife ordered the Shrimp Saganaki (excellent), and I had the Steak and Cake (great). At the end we paid around $70 w/o tips. We enjoyed our experience at this restaurant and if we come back to Hershey, this will be one of our eating spots.
