The Lost Cajun Serves Authentic Cajun Food & Beignets in a Family Friendly Environment. We encourage you to bring your kids and pass a good time.
We are from out of state so I chose this place based on proximity and reviews. When we arrived and I saw it was in a strip mall, I was a little disappointed. I should not have been. This place was perfect. The atmosphere was just what one would expect. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. When our waitress found out we were not locals, she went above and beyond to give us advice on the area. It was all welcome. We will be back in this area for over a week in June and will be eating here again. Probably more than once

While the shopping center that Jumbo and Delicious is located in is not the most attractive building in Hendersonville, this is one of the older establishments in the city on Walton Ferry Road but has several neat eateries located in the set of buildings.
The inside is very clean and the service is very prompt and the burgers are 1/2 pound and 3/4 pound meat alone. When buns, condiments and veggies are loaded on the burger you will be well over 1 pound per burger. Their larger burgers will have the meat stuffed with your choice of cheese. The cheeses I know they have available are cheddar, White American, Yellow American, Munster, Provolone,. Pepper Jack, Bleu Cheese and others. I cannot again say enough about how large and tasty these burgers are. Then the fries and onion rings! The orders are large enough for more than one person. The fries are served crinkle cut, the onion rings are freshly battered daily and they serve some tasty sweet potato wedges as well.
They have other sandwiches like Reubens and stuffed grilled cheese sandwiches. Plus they several variety of amazing chicken wings!
We have dined in and had orders for take out and they have every item hot and fresh when you pick the food up from the window whether you will dine in or take it back to your home or office. Be sure to have plenty of napkins ready when you dive into these larger than life burgers. Also when you enter it is nice and refreshing to have Contemporary Christian Music Playing!

We were looking for a dinner spot where we could have a nice meal while sitting and talking. Upon arrival, you could tell that this was more of an upscale restaurant typically used for romantic evenings. We had a party of 5 and were seated in a booth in the very corner of the restaurant. The lighting was horrible. Even those in our party that had great eye sight had to use the flashlight on the phone to read the menu. So you can imagine how horrible it was for the 80 year old woman that we had with us. To make matters worse, the ambiance in our area was loud so it was especially hard for her to hear our server. Initially, we had a young woman who I believe was new and in training because an older gentlemen occupanied her to the table a couple of times. However, neither one informed us who he was. Shortly after placing our order, we never saw the young woman again, he became our permanent server. We found him to be rude and abrasive. There were several incidents where we needed something at the table and no one came by to check on us so we had to flag down anyone we could find for assistance. I ordered the Ribeye Steak with Blue Cheese Butter, which was cooked perfectly and was flavorful. I also had a house salad and baked potato. The food I had was good but the rest of the experience here overshadowed the food. I have eaten at the Franklin, TN location of the Chop House and had a completely different experience. Based on this experience, I can get just as good of a meal (if not better) at another restaurant.

Our first eatery in Nashville and really set us up well. We were recommended to here by our tour manager on the basis that great traditional Nashville food, at reasonable prices, and presented without delay. Each of these factors were matched. We refused to allow the server to take our credit card away - he was surprised but, when we explained that this is the way we do it in the UK (bring the machines to us) and that it was nothing personal, he was happy. This was our first such experience and we subsequently found that this issue was common in the US.

We have been twice now since we live about an hour away. We both had the Tandoori Chicken Salad, I had mine spicy, a side of their excellent feta, and a Turkish coffee. $41 was the total, a little more than we usually spend but worth it. Everything is fresh, the flavors are outstanding, and atmosphere is pleasing. Awesome!

This was a great pizza place we found. The service was wonderful!! We had the large Greek salad and the small Margarita pizza.. We split both and that was plenty for us. We loved the Greek salad because most of the vegetables we chopped small. The pizza was really fresh. We will be back soon.

This is my husband's and mine favorite restaurant for Italian food including pizza. We come from Clarksville especially for Carrabba's. Robert, the manager is awesome as is the staff. Food is always fresh and hot. Service is exceptional. I agree with Chanley07's review with regard to the pungent cheese odor. We have noticed it on this occasion and my husband comment on it. I never smelled it when Robert was on duty. Wonder why? I ordered my usual wood-fired pizza. My husband had one of the pasta dishes with shrimp which was excellent. Again, we had take home for another meal. Prices average. A great meal!

we stopped for early dinner, it was happy hour, server explained pricing, hubby ordered a large Dos Equis draft, server comes back saying they no longer have it, but have a similar, so he order's that, does not like it, orders another brand, servers comes back saying thats not included in happy hour! by now i am getting annoyed, now the only happy hour beers are Bud, Miller or Miller light. fine, hubs gets Miller lite. now we order dinner, chicken fried steak with 2 sides and pot roast with 2 sides. while we are waiting server brings out basket of dinner rolls and cornbread. we both try roll, ugh, so now we try corn bread, it was all so stale! our food finally comes, looks good. server was very high energy, bouncing around like Tigger, i really think he was on something. he asks if we want anything else, i said fresh cornbread, he explais its all like that, just depends who makes it. so why serve it?/? i said if any fresh gets made let us have some, he agrees. kept bouncing around, literally jumping up slapping ceiling! food was ok at best, gravy very salty, and chicken fried steak had section so hard could not eat for fear of breaking a tooth. server checks back, i ask about corn bread, he returns with 2 pieces each, much better. save your money, there are many other places in area to eat.

This used to be a nice place to eat, so while I was in the area I was excited to stop in. The place has gone down hill bad. The entire restaurant is just disgusting the walls are dirty the floor is dirty, you can see everything piled up and food left on the griddle. I specifically asked if the wings were smoked or deep fried and she said smoked, then I watched them dump them in the deep fryer. I would not recommend this place.

Who knew...thought it would be strictly diner food, but we had excellent entrees. We had Souvlaki, and Grilled Chicken Florentine (sides were steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes, greek salad- all were very good) . The plates were attractive, large portions, excellent flavor, and efficient friendly service. So glad we have a new place to eat in Hendersonville that is not "the same old- same old"! Didn't partake of dessert, but they looked amazing!
