Fuel is a relaxing & welcoming cafe serving homemade, fresh locally sourced breakfast, coffee, lunch & dinner. We're open from early until late serving an amazing range of food & drinks including Cornish coffee, beers & wines. We're proud & committed to u
My mum and I visited Fuel today and a long discussion about which eatery we wanted to visit for lunch - Falmouth isn't short or cafes/restaurants after all. Mum has the kedgeree, and I couldn't choose! Fortunately, their children's menu is awesome - choose anything from the menu and they'll do a half portion, for half the price. Brilliant for children, but even better for indecisive adults. I had a warm goats cheese salad and lasagna. Both were delicious. The staff were really friendly and the prices were reasonable - I certainly didn't feel like I'd been ripped off for the amount and quality of food we received. We agreed that Fuel had been an excellent choice!

A hidden rural restaurant located on the edge of disused quarry workings on the Penryn to Gweek road in the North Helford Zone, Cornwall. Come along and enjoy THE WAYMARKER'S freshly prepared lunchtime meals & drinks with unparralelled seclusion & tranqui
Visited with family for cream teas at lunchtime. Service was excellent helpful and friendly. There was a wide choice of scones of generous proportions and lots of jam and cream (no need to ask for extra). Quality was excellent including the gluten free scones. tucked away but well worth seeking out.

Vegetarian café serving freshly made food, home baked cakes and great coffee. Gardens are dog and child friendly - come and relax a while! Keep an eye on the web site for evening events, craft workshops and art exhibitions.
The title says it all! Amazing breakfast with lots of interesting favours including a wonderful fresh lemon mayonnaise and homemade tomato chutney/sauce. Even if youâre not veggie you have to try this. And the cakes ...mmmmmm....delicious, although after the filling breakfast I had to take it away to eat later.

Closed at present but usually open seasonally from Easter to November for lunch, homemade cakes, coffees, cream teas, wines and a full license, with fresh fish and shellfish our speciality. A South facing garden is great for sunny days, with a wood burner
A group of 8 of us were walking in the area and went for tea/coffee and cake on Saturday afternoon. The service was friendly, but they were short of cakes as they were going to be closed the next day. We did manage to get some cake which was nice, but we would have expected more choice on a bank holiday Saturday afternoon!

Holy Mackerel Cafe open from 11am (closed Friday). Locally sourced and homemade produce, sharing platters and pates, great with wine in the garden . Helford Cyder,Local ales and Cornish gin. Pretty garden with stunning river views.
Had their fabulous charcuterie sharing platter- light mackerel pate was superb as were the local cheeses served with warm chunks of rustic bread .....and as for the pickled grapes! We left with a brace of their home made pork and apple sausage rolls which we originally intended to eat on the road home but have just eaten for lunch- I canât tell you how delicious we found them today. Definitely will come again!

We are a family run café located just outside Porthallow - our opening hours are on our website. We are dog friendly, open all year round and have outside seating for busy periods. We are a short walk to Porthallow Cove which is also dog friendly.
No trip to Porthallow is complete without a visit here. We had very good coffee and delicious pastries but could just have easily ordered a variety of very appealing lunch options.
