Reviewed By AsmodeusWhat is the point in spending money on Accor hotels if there no reward for having used the hotel chain so much that you achieve gold status? The hotel room was fine but we could have spent less elsewhere and been just as comfortable. I’m questioning why we use this chain at all.

Only differences in IBIS hotels is the noise level (apart from construction work outside in the morning the IBIS Heilbronn was very quiet) and the quality of staff. Everybody was very friendly. Will stay there again.

Reviewed By dimarxosA very nice choice for any kind of trip. The location is excellent since almost everything in Downton is in walking distance of few minutes. Fresh, clean rooms and kind staff are also add-ons for this family business. As a suggestion the breakfast range could be improved.

Reviewed By S1986LBalyssabI was only meant to stay at the hotel for one evening, but after I checked out I discovered that my appointment I was in the area for was moved back a day, so I needed to stay another night. Despite being hours before check in, they put me back in a fresh room immediately. The rooms themselves are nice with a surprisingly effective mixture of modern and steampunk/sailor. The dining area was beautiful, and the customer service was top notch. The bartender even lent me a phone charger when mine died while watching the football game! Although I dont know that I'll need to return to Heilbronn, I know I'll be staying here if I do

Note there are no tea makeing machines,kettles in the bed rooms?or tea machines,so bring your own if you need a cuppa in your room,we are English and require several cups a day,after breakfast hours. We had an enjoyable week here,it is only a short bus ride,61bus to Heilbron railway station and centre of town, Good location, The evening meals,not included in the room rates are exceptional,meats are favourite. Thank you Mr Hagg and staff.

Reviewed By coppermikeWe were staying in the area to attend a wedding and stayed 3 nights. Rooms were nice and check in was efficient. Nothing outstanding but nothing really wrong/bad either. A good basic hotel, with an satisfying but unremarkable European breakfast. Great breads, good sliced meats and cheeses, forget able coffee. For one night ok. But little things like no soap in soap dispenser, very rough toilet paper, Pillie sheets that were uncomfortable and odd sized pillows, started to add up. Check out was an adventure. Over 40 minutes to check out,, as clerk checked out the line up first, then applied an odd method in reverse order to remove cars from parking garage. They have mechanical lifts so they can store more cars in the garage. I would consider this hotel if just for a short stop on the way as there were not that many things to do around the immediate area, but would look for something more central if staying a few days. Be careful about asking for a different room, our friends had a handicapped room which was very hot, so they asked for one on second floor beside us. They were moved to second floor but got a suite, charged a lot more, while there were rooms beside us available. No notice on charges.
