Food Truck in Healy out side the Totem Bar, serving Serbian Crepes for late night! Visit our Restaurant in Denali Park at the North end of the Boardwalk for a great meal and Eastern European Experience!
Excellent spot. I'm glad we came across this place. You must check this out if you're visiting Denali National Park. We went there 3 times in a row. Chicken friend crepe and Nutella Banana Crepe are my favorites.

The owners are wonderful people and great sources of local info. There are plenty of comfortable couches and chairs, and the coffee is delicious.

We are a traditional Serbian restaurant. Serving family recipes, made from scratch daily with the fresh ingredients. We serve breakfast lunch and dinner in a fine dining atmosphere at a casual dining price from May thru September.
I was glad I ended up going to this restaurant. Running into an authentic Serbian cuisine restaurant was the last thing I would have expected while in Alaska. Its a small and cozy place with its own signature decor. While, talking to the waiter, I got to know that its a family run business and everything there (from menu to the furniture to the decor) was custom built by the restaurant owners. I tried their authentic Turkish coffee with Ratluk (or Turkish Delight) and East Mediterranean style Chicken Crepe. Great food and service ... Waiters/ Waitresses are very friendly ... I was delighted to see framed photos of Nikola Tesla on their wall (something I would have never expected to see in a restaurant). Loved the food so much that I dined the next day too and tried some more from their menu.
Very close to Denali National Park & Mt. Healy. Definitely a great place to dine esp. after a long hike in Denali.

Whether ordering a burger the size of your head, Alderwood smoked ribs that fall off the bone, or a local organic salad the food at the 49th will not disappoint. Our award winning craft beer is brewed on premises and can be enjoyed in the beer garden while playing disc golf, bocce ball, horseshoes, or bags. The 49th's outdoor concert series brings acts such as: The Wailers, Trampled by Turtles, Dark Star Orchestra, Keller Williams, Pato Banton, and Matt Lewis and the Medicine. The "Into the Wild" bus from the movie is in the garden and visitors are welcome to go aboard to see the memorabilia on display. As we are located 8 miles north of the Denali hub, we offer a local shuttle for a worry free visit.
What a great place! Had dinner here a couple of years ago, and I still think about the Yak-burger. They have a great atmosphere, good service and the place was just buzzing when we were there. Absolutely worth a visit.

Four of us ate here for breakfast when we were taking off to our next destination. They had a great breakfast menu. Omletts were very good and they had the biggest pancake I have ever seen. I purchased a doughnut for later, and it was so good. We enjoyed this diner very much.

I was really unsure about trying this place after such mixed reviews. After trying to get into another popular Healy restaurant that had an hour+ wait, we decided to give it a try. Husband had the spaghetti and meatballs, and I had the lasagna. Husband got the tomato bisque soup for starters, and although it didn't look like a smooth creamy tomato soup like I know bisque to be, he loved it. I had a tossed salad which was really good, lots of veggies in it - even though I got cucumbers after asking to hold them. No biggie, they were big pieces I could just take out. I also had to ask for a second blue cheese dressing, as the one that came with it was really small.
We also got bread with olive oil/balsamic for dipping, and we each got garlic bread with our meals. The garlic bread was good, although it didn't taste garlicky to me at all. Desserts looked good but we were stuffed, so we just got coffee. We were pleasantly surprised at the check for $43, after having paid nearly that just for breakfast in some areas of Alaska. Granted, we had no alcoholic drinks nor desserts, but still. Service was very friendly, but maybe a bit slow as the place wasn't even half full while we were there. Would definitely go again!

Great Pizza. Good and fast service. Native decor. Reasonable prices. 10 minute drive on the highway North from Denali Park.

This was the only restaurant open at night both of our nights in Healy. The service and food was terrible the first night. The guy just didn't care. We wanted dessert he decided we wanted our check. He wasn't friendly wasn't helpful and made us dread having to come back the second night. Our 2nd night we had a more friendly yet equally as inattentive server but the food was really good. I had vodka sauce pasta. I'm kind of a brat when it comes to Italian and it was spot on. I would say don't come here but in the winter your stuck. Good luck.

We really didn't want to have to sit down and be waited on and pay for expensive beer/wine. We were thrilled to find a food truck in Healy. The portions were generous (a little skimpy on the meat) and very tasty. Great value ($12 for Basil Chicken) for this remote section of Alaska. We enjoyed the meals in our motel room, while sipping wine that we brought in from Fairbanks. Plus we had leftovers for lunch the next day. One entree could have served the 2 of us.

The Alpenglow in The Grande Denali Lodge sits high above "glitter gulch". The decor is pure rustic upscale. A huge grizzly offers great photo opportunities. The food was quite fine, but perhaps not outstanding; however, you're in a place that's remote and only operates seasonally. Expect higher prices everywhere in Alaska, and particulary at Denali. The view, the surroundings, and the good service combined to make for enjoyable meals. The king crab was dleightful. Yes, it's pricey, but you're ON VACATION in ALASKA!
