Reviewed By pkh_travelsStayed one night at Hotel Resorts Beppuwan, situated on a raise elevation with a great open view of Beppu Bay. The rooms were clean and spacious with beds. The onsen there has 2 hot pools and 1 cold pool. Service and food were good.

Reviewed By Jimmy YThis is a great hotel and room rate was very reasonable. The indoor and outdoor onsen were excellent. I tried the Japanese style room which was a wonderful experience. The dinner and breakfast were very good too. The view of the room and restaurant was facing the sea. Very beautiful and relaxing. Excellent services. They provided free shuttle services to two nearby cities. But still it is better to rent a car and drive in order to see more around this beautiful city.

Reviewed By J8170NLoscaroThe five days at the retreat was incredible! Way more than I expected. The morning meditation and the introduction to Zen Buddhist way of living guided by Yodo was amazing. Adding the incredible generosity and hospitality from his family, delicious local food and a selection of the best onsen Beppu has to offer made these days the best part of my travels. A unique experience with new knowledge I'm taking with me to everyday life.

Reviewed By NORITAMA_4_103今回は少しだけ良いホテルに泊まろうということで、昨年オープンのこちらを利用しました未就学1人を含む4人。山側の3人部屋に泊まりました。普段「入ってすぐにトイレとお風呂一緒の場所があって、その奥にはベッドが2つ、その向かいには机とテレビがある部屋(子供談)」しか泊りませんので、子供2人はテンション上がってました。 店前道路は、センター仕切りがありますので、別府方面からの入庫はしばらく行ったところからのUターンになります。 15時にチェックインしましたが、フロント隣で地獄蒸しや梅酒を配ってまして、さっそくいただきました。おいしかったです。 その後すぐお風呂。ホテル自体は活況のようでしたが、まだこの時間は空いてました。広々としてて快適です。湯温もgood。上がったところには生ビールサーバーや、ドリンクバー、アイスがあります。こちら夜の時間帯だけですね。 だんだん混んでくる感じなので、早めに入るとよいのかもしれません。 夕食は90分2部制。子供もいるので17時半からの早い時間。ハーフバイキングなので、ステーキや前菜なんかは持ってきてくれます。ビュッフェ台の料理が気になって仕方ないのですが、先にテーブルサービス料理に手を付けたほうが満腹状態との相談がしやすいのではないかと。お酒も飲み放題。私は普段飲まないのですが貧乏性発症のため(笑)、杏露酒を少しいただきました。酒飲みなら天国ですな。 ビュッフェ台にもおいしい料理がいくつも並びますので、非常に満足度高かったです。 ご飯終了後は、子供とプレイルームへ。子供はプッシュポップとかいうおもちゃにハマってましたが、いろいろ遊べるスペースあります。子供連れなら一度顔を出しても良いのでは。ちなみに2階にトイレがないので、これは結構面倒くさい。 部屋は新しいので広くてきれいです。海側は眺めもさぞ良いのだろうとおもいますが、そこは財布との相談ですね。 翌日も朝からお風呂へ。6時半頃でしたが、それなりの入りでした。こちらも遅めだと混んでるようです。 朝食は7時半スタート。チェックイン時の受付で開始時間を聞かれますが、夕食と違い時間制ではないので、8時半とかの回だとその時間に行っても入場制限かかります。スタッフさんもその辺は気にしてたぽくて、嫁&下の子がトイレ、私と上の子がデザートを取りに行ってるタイミングでテーブルを片付けられそうになりました。 ビュッフェ自体は和洋取り交ぜて1回では食べ比べできない種類があります。魚は生のものがあり、テーブルで焼くタイプのものも提供されます。これはおいしかった。ていうか、全部美味しい。 1階のロビーのあたり、夕方のふろ上がりスペースにはドリンクバーがあり、プレイルームにもコーヒーマシーンがあるなど気前がいいです。地獄蒸しもあり、そこでは梅酒or焼酎楽しめますので食事をしない方でも楽しめます。それでも食事ありのほうがここを満喫できるのではないかと思います。あとピーク時に宿泊される方は早めの行動(夕方の風呂、朝の風呂、朝食)を心がけると空いてて満足度も上がるのではないかと思います。 子連れもいっぱい泊ってました。今回はハーモニーランドと組み合わせて泊りました(翌日行く場合は、いったん左折してUターン)。それなりに客室も多いので大人の静けさが欲しい方には向かないかもしれません。にぎやかでもOKなグループ、お酒好きのグループにはいいかもしれませんね。
