This was our 4th time doing the road to hana. Every time we end up in hana around 4-5 and stop at the ranch restaurant for dinner. This time it was closed. We didn't know where else to eat besides the food trucks. And my vegetarian aunt wasn't into that. So we heard we could eat at the travaasa hotel restaurant or lounge. So we went there. The main restaurant was closed between their lunch and dinner hours, so we went to eat at the lounge. They had a small menu. I think 3 appetizers and 4 entrées. We got the guacamole with taro chips for appetizer. Pretty good, as a texan, the guac could have used a bit more seasoning and spice, but still good. My aunt got the fresh catch of the day sandwich, which she said was cooked perfectly and delicious. My husband and I both got the burgers, which were great as well. The service, food quality, and prices were infinitely better than the ranch restaurant. (Still pretty pricey for a burger, but worth it for the view and taste and service.) We were very glad the ranch restaurant was closed and we had to go to the hotel lounge. We will be going there from now on! Wonderful view and we will definitely be coming back to stay at that amazing hotel and spa!

We stayed in Hana area 3 nights and you really have to watch the time for dinner because the food trucks all close early to mid afternoon, there are only like 3 restaurants (one was closed, one is upscale), and both stores close at 7/7:30! We ate here twice - food was good, large portions (ask for yummy salad in place of the side fries), staff very friendly. Nice break in $$ after the $100 lunches for our family of 4 (with two teen boys) on Oahu.

after driving for hours, and you are a little hungry, this is a must stop to get the very best Fish tacos or my favorite, Kalua Pork tacos. Linda has a way of making them taste simply great. this has been a favorite stopping place for years for us, every time we go to Hana.

After a long drive to Hana town, we were really hungry and were looking for some decent place to have our dinner and chill out before our drive back. Parking was ample and free, Restaurant: Overall we found this place had nice views, limited menu choice, the food presentation was really underwhelming, and service was OK. I had the fish tacos which were OK. Overall an underwhelming experience. This place has a lot of potential to be awesome !!!

We have never had better fish tacos anywhere! If youâre making the drive to Hana, you absolutely have to stop for the best fresh fish tacos in the world. We also shared a pork quesadilla topped with avocado-yum! Hana Grindz is on the right side of the road about 3 miles before you reach Hana. Donât miss it!Mahalo for your review Mary L !

Just finished a great meal at this restaurant. Their poke appetizer and fresh catch of the day (my husband got the pan roasted and I had the grilled ono) were absolutely amazing. So was their desert selection- I highly recommend their lava cake. The best part of the night was by far our waitress Chelsea. She was absolutely amazing and made our dinner into a dining experience.
