While staying at the Ritz, we wandered down to the Burger Shack on DT Fleming Beach. We had numerous people tell us this was the âbestâ burger on the Island. I had the Aliâi burger ($24) and if this is the best in Maui, someone needs to train everyone on how to make a burger. I have had better in run of the mill chain restaurants. Bun was dry, meat was overcooked, the sliver of cheese wasnât melted and it was sparse on lettuce, tomato and onions. The sweet potato fries, however were superb and could have been the best Iâve ever had.View is wonderful and setting is charming right on the beach.

Where do I begin?!?! Fantastic service, fantastic setting, fantastic cocktails and fantastic food!!!!!!Please see our photos for a snapshot of the fantastic quality of the food here. I will be the first to admit I am hard to please and my reviews will be testament to that. However this restaurant at the end of the main tourist strip in Waikiki is simply amazing. The minute we walked in the door the service was fantastic - congratulations to all the employees who work here. When seated our drinks order was taken within minutes and fantastic drinks they were. I had a Pinacolada to start and my wife had a key lime pie martini. Both were simple sensational. If I had a slight and I do mean slight criticism the key lime pie martini could have been a little colder. We then had an entree of coconut shrimp which were the best I have ever had on all my travels. Large, juicy, perfectly cooked - simply amazing. I then had the rib eye for mains and my wife had the blackened fish tacos. Both were done perfectly. To show just how good this place is - I asked for my rib eye to be done just slightly on the rarer side of medium - and what was I served? Exactly what I asked for. I finished with a Mai Tai and that too was perfect! This place is not cheap - but you get what you pay for and this restaurant, its service and itâs staff were so good we have cancelled our booking with another place tomorrow night so we can experience Tommyâs again. This is an absolute must! Enjoy!

Located on the first floor and porch of The Plantation Inn B&B in Old Lahaina, with free parking for guests and a homey atmosphere, Gerard's Restaurant gave us a memorable meal for our Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary. The dining room and porch hold relatively few tables, so our server and bartender were able give us friendly, attentive, fine-dining-experience service. The meals on our plates were artfully arranged, set on a table with formal linens, dinnerware, stemware, and flowers. There are times when paper-wrapped, hand-held food and plastic utensils are appropriate, but Gerard's is, instead, the place to go for more formal occasions and tasty meals.

Oyster Shooters are a MUST. Butterscotch pudding, was so wonderful. (I don't like butterscotch) Sit by the window where you can watch the turtles float around. I can't remember our waitresses name, but exceptional!! (sorry, we were drinking those wonderful Mai-tais) We went here twice, enjoyed it both timesAloha Kathy, I think this review is fantastic! Thank you so much for coming both times! The oyster shooters are a must and half priced for happy hour, just saying. I have told each of my waitresses this was about them just to make their day. Truth is they all do an amazing job. Mahalo!

Took us a week to find this place. AMAZING! Very cool spot. Food was great....fish was a bit over cooked, but still tasted fantastic. Kids LOVED their cheeseburger and calamari. A pretty cool vibe with a relaxed feel. Will do this one again for sure! Canât comment on service as thereâs really none, other than that the people were super friendly and clearly enjoyed their job. Aloha,Thank you so much for the excellent review of our restaurant. We are so glad you and your family enjoyed your dining experience so much! We do have a limited amount of guest interaction, we try to make make those as memorable as possible. Hope to see you again soon. Mahalo
