We landed up for dinner on a pleasant early-October late evening on our way back from the sunset visit to Haleakala during our recent trip to Maui. The location inside a plantation is unique with large covered & open air sitting areas. The landscaping & decor are unique too. We were served by Matt who was a good conversationalist & helped us with the food ordering. Mahi-mahi fish and the pork dishes were really delicious as was the desert. I wish we had the time to visit the place during daylight happy, it's definitely a daytime/happy hours place. Maybe on another trip.. Highly recommended.Mahalo for sharing what you enjoyed most! We've passed along your compliments to Matt and our team. See you next time at Happy Hour!

Located on the first floor and porch of The Plantation Inn B&B in Old Lahaina, with free parking for guests and a homey atmosphere, Gerard's Restaurant gave us a memorable meal for our Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary. The dining room and porch hold relatively few tables, so our server and bartender were able give us friendly, attentive, fine-dining-experience service. The meals on our plates were artfully arranged, set on a table with formal linens, dinnerware, stemware, and flowers. There are times when paper-wrapped, hand-held food and plastic utensils are appropriate, but Gerard's is, instead, the place to go for more formal occasions and tasty meals.

We just returned from a week stay at Hotel Wailea and enjoyed the restaurant on property. We ate breakfast multiple days on the property and enjoyed dinner one evening. All of the meals met our expectations and the view cannot be beat. Highly recommend the pancakes with coconut whipped cream and toasted pineapple. For dinner, the duck breast and king crab spaghetti were flavorful options, as well as the tomato and risotto starters.Be sure to book a reservation for dinner at a time when you can watch the sunset.

Pair handcrafted cocktails with island pupu (appetizers) as you take in Pacific Ocean views at our laid-back lounge.
Did not eat here, but had several cocktails at the bar. The service was first rate and the drinks were awesome. The view was incredible. The bar was covered, but otherwise open air. There was a Hawaiian singer and dancer providing entertainment as well.

Let me start by saying my wife and I enjoy fine dining and have ate at some of the best restaurants around the world. I would consider ourselves as what you would call âfoodiesâ. So after looking on tripadvisor we decided to book Maui Chefs Table as it was listed as number one for all of Maui. The setting was very nice with it being open air and allowed you to mingle with other guests as well as the chefs as they prepare each item. The dish sizes are very small, one or two bites and after 6 dishes, I was still hungry. Some dishes were amazing and some just ok. It is not worth the $150 usd per person and there is better fine dining on Maui. I would rather spend less money at Lahaina Grill and leave fully satisfied by having an amazing meal. Interesting concept but far from perfect, and for $150 is should be close to perfect. Mahalo for making Maui Chef's Table a part of your vacation. While we're happy you enjoyed the venue and format of the evening, we're sorry the cuisine lacked what you were expecting. The ticket price includes all courses, gratuity, a sparkling toast, bread service, and coffee. In our mission of supporting local ingredients, the cost and portions reflect that quality. We apologize you were not fully satisfied after your dining experience. We sincerely thank you for your feedback as it allows us to improve. Aloha!
