When you're driving down hwy 11 from Kailua Kona towards South Point it can be tough to find a place for a decent meal. This food truck is a godsend. Right around the Honaunau area look out for signs announcing a food truck coming up. Run by a very friendly husband and wife team (she's originally from Thailand) this place serves up good Thai food as well as interesting takes on traditional comfort food. They have a couple of tables set up so you can enjoy lunch by the roadside under a macadamia tree. Different takes on Loco Moco... all very good... yes, we tried them all. Very cool place.

Fresh. Local. Delicious. Vegan/Vegetarian Cold pressed juice, salads, and wraps inspired by local ingredients and worldly flavors. Tasty, quick, grab and go good food at an affordable price! Mostly vegan, most definitely vegetarian and 100% delicious.

On the street little place, you have to walk up a tiny stair to get to the ordering window. Delightful owner, knowledgeable. We had the Green Style Mediterranean three bean quinoa salad. With the added tomatoes, cucumbers, roasted red peppers, red onion and kalamata olives.... and loads of feta cheese. One salad was enough for the two of us. And was only $12. Many wraps to choose from.... one of the visitors chose chickpea curry made with the chickpea salad, raisins, fresh greens and ample tomatoes and red onion. If you are a vegan, this is for you. One last note.... I've never seen such fresh greens.... the woman said she sources locally and also has a garden where she cultivates veggies. In addition, there are cold pressed juices .... our favorite was pineapple, cucumber and mint. You won't miss it if you are looking for the retail store that sells ...ah..... donkey balls (chocolate candy). Terrific local spot. Just go....Remember this is a walkup window with some tables on the sidewalk... or just order and take with you.

The night of our wedding, my new wife and I went for drinks and snacks at Rays. Dan the bartender was extremely hospitable showing his superb customer service skills by remembering all the guests names and making sure everyone at the bar was well attended to. We ordered a few drinks, poke, and chowder which were reasonably priced for a hotel bar. It was a delightful way to end our elopement day! Thanks Dan!
