Find out what Hawaiian restaurants to try in Kauai. Relaxing and pristine Kauai (the Garden Island) is the least commercially developed of the Hawaiian islands. Waterfalls, scenic drives and more than 60 beaches dot the landscape. Some beaches have great snorkeling, others offer child-friendly tidal pools and some are perfect for all kinds of water sports. Dry-land activities include hiking the Kalalau Trail on the Na Pali coastline, taking a day trip to Waimea Canyon and experiencing life on a sugar plantation at Grove Farm Homestead Museum.

Went as a family of 8 and had a great time. Loved the lava guava dressing for the salad as well as the teriyaki beef. All of the workers were super friendly and made our trip worthwhile. You can definitely see the passion this family has for their luau!

Stopped at my brother-in-law's favorite place for poke. They were out!! (it was later in pm) We got some wakame instead. And that was good. The prices are about the same as other places around the isle.

John is the Chef-Owner and Michelle is the GM & Owner since 2015. We serve only the best food and Kauai Roastery Coffee. Our menu features organic, local, fresh ingredients like Makaweli Beef, Anahola Granola, Kauai Roastery Coffee, and all the local frui
I am a little confused as the reviews are so good. Cute location, super fast and friendly service. BUT the $4 cup of coffee was tiny - yes free refills but the cup was a joke - , the type you get at conventions but without a saucer or spoon, the small orange juice is served in a tiny small latte glass and my french toast was 1 slice only which came a little burnt and was so small that I thought 'where is the rest of it'? Usually portions in America are so enormous that I can never finish anything and usually wonder about all that waste of food. Here I left hungry and I am not a big eater to start with. One slice of small toast isn't really good enough. Felt a bit cheated.

We stopped here on our way to Princeville for some plate lunch. I had read good things about Pono Market, and we were not disappointed. The plate lunch and poke were excellent (we bought some more poke to take to our condo). Some things to keep in mind. There's not a lot of seating - it's primarily a take-out place. Being on the highway in Kapa'a, you will have to hunt a bit for a parking place. But, it's worth it!

Great concept...make the food truck stationary, set up tables under a tent, and serve excellent dishes. This is a reservation required, BYBO, dining experience. The multi course dinner changes daily, based on the catch and the crop.We enjoyed it immensely

All the reviews are right. Hukilau Lanai is an outstanding place to eat. The menu is exceptional, the wine list is very good, the ambiance is cozy and welcoming and the staff are friendly and courteous without being stuffy or over zealous. The restaurant is very good value., too.I donât believe youâll be disappointed here.

This was delightful in every way. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, giving the fine details of each dish. You come here for the food, which is simply spectacular. Our party enjoyed the onion soup, the seafood dishes, the Korean beef small plate, and the dumplings, my personal favorite!

An Hawaiian twist on an old american favorite... ***Friday Night you will find me in Hanapepe at the Art Walk from 5:30-9. Not in Waimea***
Came across this place as we were sharing a Shave Ice just down the street at JoJoâs. Picked the Number One from the four available items which was delicious Kalua pulled pork, grilled onions over a fat pineapple sausage in a bun. My mouth is watering now. Excellent quick bite after driving up the canyon.

Oasis is a beautiful oceanfront location that showcases the best of what Kauai has to offer in cuisine, service and ocean views. We strongly believe that residents and guests of Hawaii want to experience Hawaii. We use local sources for almost 90% of our
My wife and I stayed at the Waipouli Resort for a week and visited the Oasis four times. My wife had one of their salads with a side of Ono. I had the curry with seared Ahi as well as the Seared Catch. Everything was excellent. We would make a reservation for an early dinner so we had an excellent table. Of course, it's on the beach so the view was good. Highly recommend The Oasis, but be sure to make a reservation as it is always full.
