I know, this isn't Island food, but we were sitting at the beach and my hubby was looking into something he can pick up and bring back, Panda was the perfect choice. The food is the same everywhere you go, so we knew it's good and the prices are also ok.

They are in a different place than when we last ate there. Summer rolls were good and warmed which is unusual. I had chicken pad Thai which was good, not great. Hubby had massman curry chicken which was not that great. We have very good Thai food in St. Paul so our standards are very high. The food was basic, nothing bad, just not noteworthy.

After 12 hours on airplanes we were pleased to find Sushi Bushido and the menu had something for each of us. The various rolls and nigiri were excellent. The spicy chicken saute over cabbage was not too hot but very tasty. They do a good job with the Miso soup and the cucumber was crisp and delicious in the Tsukemono salad. Every one in our party liked the edamame appetizer. This is a fine place to go with interesting decor and the mirror over the chef's table lets you watch them make your dinner. You may find it a bit expensive but the food is excellent.

We will be having a Mothers Day Brunch at 7am-2pm
Very simple Filipino dine-in restaurant but what caught my attention was there breakfast choices especially their Adobo Omelette! It was a decent serving with a cup of friend rice. Prices are very reasonable. Owner was very nice and even pointed us to 2 of her personal beach favorites which turned out to be our faves in the island. We managed to reserve a long table on our last breakfast with our 13-member group and everybody was happy! Filipino comfort food in the island!

The menu is massive, the options take you back to all the old local favorites, full breakfast menu all day, everything ONO and prices terrific. It's a must stop for visitors to feel the real Hawaii, table workers genuinely serve up ALOHA spirit happily, the owner is proud of her restaurant and there all day to greet diners, the local regulars are like family.

We were craving sushi and the locals recommended this place, the place was packed with locals which is always a good sign. The menu items for food were pretty good, and had we settled with just that it would have been a mediocre experience. Thankfully we ordered sushi which really improved the experience as it was outstanding.

If you like korean bulgogi, fried mandoo and steamed mandoo you will not be disappointed here. This is a "hole in the wall" restaurant with no luxury what so ever, but who cares when the delicious meat tastes so well. It is tender and well made and portions are just right to the price. Mandoo fried/steamed is 8 and 9 USD and you get 10 pieces. Note: Monday and tuesdays are closed and they close 8.30 pm (20.30) wednesday-sunday.Service is very fast and efficient but also smiling and friendly. Good value for money! And maybe the best meal we had on Kauai! (that is of course because I love bulgogi! :-)

Stopped at about 10am as I could not eat my hotel breakfast due to nut contamination. On way to Hanalei Bay. Ordered a plate to go with rice, macaroni salad, poke and fried chicken. Almost cried at how delicious it was. Every bite. Who knew macaroni salad could taste like that. Freshest poke, amazing fried chicken. And the price... wow. So reasonable.

Yes, I have reviewed this place before, but we just went back and had a fantastic meal. The chef is amazing- tiny kitchen that produces delicious, gorgeous plates. This time we both ordered 2 small plates, but there are so many choices. We started with the scallop ravioli. Husband had the octopus and I tried the bacon and pork wontons- incredible! They have a good wine list. And the server, Dana, was wonderful.
