Way before Whole Foods Kailua, there was Down To Earth. It's always been a staple place of mine whenever visiting Kailua. They've always remained consistent, friendly, helpful and with high standards. I still go there when I can, and only endure the crowd and parking lot madness of Whole Foods when I have to.

Great service, extensive menu (including Thai, Japanese and other Asian dishes), comfortable setting and tasty food at reasonable prices. Our server was very helpful in making dish recommendations for our group. Good option for eat in or takeout. Parking can be scarce so plan accordingly.

Disclaimer--we're from Kansas City, which is hardly the sushi capital of the world. We're not connoisseurs, but we thought this place was great. Walked right in and ordered; had it ready to go in ten minutes. Tasty, and one of the more affordable meals we ate in Hawaii. And while we're not experts, we thought it was really delicious. Recommend.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the front pit seating for 6. They take reservations and our table was ready when we arrived. The food was fresh and delicious with many fantastic options. Sashimi and rolls were great as were the combo meals. Great cocktail and sake options. Lovely service, will definitely return!

Success!! Both our moms were very happy with our Motherâs Day lunch at Champa Thai! We ordered a wonderful selection of items, and both moms plus myself were delighted with seconds! A delicious favorite was the Pad Thai , and Panang. For my daughter We ordered a few items that were vegetarian and we all enjoyed those as well! Friendly, cheerful and attentive service.

This is an intimate, little Thai restaurant with really great food and service. I took friends of mine who live in Kailua Town here for dinner one evening. We started out with spring rolls (really delicious), and ordered a variety of entrees to share. All was very nicely prepared, and delicious. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant for Thai.

What a surprise in Kailua. My son would eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner here everyday if he lived in Kailua. Everybody loved their food. It is nice to dine a place that gives you a lot of food for a reasonable price. The only con is they have a small lot right off the street.

This is an unpretentious restaurant in a commercial strip that boasts a lot of small ethnic restaurants. My sister and I both had a very good spring roll. She ordered wonton soup and was expecting a small bowl of soup like you'd get for an appetizer in a Chinese restaurant. The bowl was huge, and the soup was good, as was the beef pho which the rest of us had. My husband also ordered a spicy beef over rice which was too much to eat along with his big bowl of soup. The food was good, and next time we'll know that the portions are very large.

Had the $14.95 lunch special; Kali, bbq beef & chicken. Four of us shared a small dish of Kim chee (no refills). Meal came with small bowl of rice & broth, small portions of namasu, bean sprouts & shredded cabbage w/dressing. Main course was cold when served. First Korean restaurant I've been very disappointed with. Tasty BBQ (Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center) is 10xs better & cheaper!
