I have to admit that the food in Maui is generally pretty awful and the restaurants are often quite unpleasant. The food at Fat Daddy's turned out to be pretty good and the restaurant was comfortable (though noisy). We ordered ribs and brisket, and Brussel sprouts, zucchini and corn bread as sides, all 0f which were excellent. I don't think this is the world's best BBQ, but after a number of really bad meals, we were happy to get a fairly good one. Also, food prices were lower than most places. They seem to make their money from alcoholic drinks, so they seem to keep the food prices on the low end (for Maui).

fresh - local - family owned Cafe O'Lei Kihei is Maui's go to place for fresh seafood, sushi, steaks, and fresh locally-sourced cuisine. Served in a casual but elegant location in the heart of Kihei next to the beach.
Wow the food was great, so was the service! All four in our party really enjoyed our meals! Nice atmosphere to sit relax and enjoy a good meal.

Itâs probably better based on the reviews, but it wasnât this day. The help was less than friendly, and our first try at ono fish and chips wasnât fresh (itâs usually great we found out elsewhere). Maybe on a better day with a friendlier staff would do better. This clearly seems to be a local favorite, but it was disappointing for us - the food trucks were better and nicer too.

We were here over the summer and ordered a large Hawaiian pizza (ham and pineapple). The pizza was crispy, the ham was excellent, and they used Maui pineapples which made for one of the best pizzas we´ve ever had! The atmosphere of the restaurant is also nice. The wooden walls with weird artwork reminded me a little of Pirates of the Caribbean for some reason. It was just a casual, rustic place along the main road next tot he beach. The restaurant itself is indoors (don´t go if you are imagining beautiful views or nice patio seating). A great place to take the family if you are craving pizza!

This restaurant is 100% Gluten Free! We serve pizza, pasta , salads, fish & chips and more. Open for dinner 6 days a week. No worries about cross contamination if you have gluten issues.Good food for everyone, even if you don't have to eat gluten free! We
The fried fish featured on DDD was a hit at the table, but the pizzas were not. The edges of the two different types of smaller pizzas we ordered were crispy but as you ate toward the center each was gummy and soft. The cinnamon rolls had good flavor but were dry. We don't have gluten allergies and were here to try the food.

Live bands play on the stage as you eat in an open air restaurant. I had the chicken and waffles which were very good along with the hand cut fries. The crab cake burger thing was just ok (probably wouldn't get again). They have infused water for free and open seating. Would definitely come back and enjoy the music again.

Serving up "ALOHA," all day long. We pride ourselves with preparing our meals fresh everyday, homemade sauces, organic farm to table salads, in house roasted macadamia nuts and your order cooked individually for you while you wait. Just a 100 yds away fro
Very friendly and prompt service. The mahi mahi was generously-sized and served with brown rice and a nice salad (with feta, nuts, seeds and a light dressing). The lemon and dill sauce was really tasty too. A tasty and very satisfying meal at a friendly establishment. Conveniently there is foil at the front so you can take away and keep your meal warm.

My husband and I went to Cuatros with another couple (BYO Wine for a $10 corking fee).Crab Cakes appetizer super tiny (4) crab cakes to share and steak app kinda tough and bloody that nonetheless could not fill any size person. All of us got the nightly fish special that came with rice and a couple of green beans for the price of $39.99! Granted we brought our own wine, but to pay that much then go home and still be hungry after apps and a meal? We are locals, brah, wha??Suffice to say we will not make a return visit. Sorry.

We had dinner here on our last night in Maui and were very pleased. The food, the service and the view were all quite superior. They also had live music. Let me start by saying my wife and I enjoy fine dining and have ate at some of the best restaurants around the world. I would consider ourselves as what you would call âfoodiesâ. So after looking on tripadvisor we decided to book Maui Chefs Table as it was listed as number one for all of Maui. The setting was very nice with it being open air and allowed you to mingle with other guests as well as the chefs as they prepare each item. The dish sizes are very small, one or two bites and after 6 dishes, I was still hungry. Some dishes were amazing and some just ok. It is not worth the $150 usd per person and there is better fine dining on Maui. I would rather spend less money at Lahaina Grill and leave fully satisfied by having an amazing meal. Interesting concept but far from perfect, and for $150 is should be close to perfect. Mahalo for making Maui Chef's Table a part of your vacation. While we're happy you enjoyed the venue and format of the evening, we're sorry the cuisine lacked what you were expecting. The ticket price includes all courses, gratuity, a sparkling toast, bread service, and coffee. In our mission of supporting local ingredients, the cost and portions reflect that quality. We apologize you were not fully satisfied after your dining experience. We sincerely thank you for your feedback as it allows us to improve. Aloha!
