I wanted to stop on our way home for a quick bite. We discovered this relatively new place where they serve fresh made pizzas and french cuisine. The reception was friendly and the pizzas were excellent. With prices ranging from 8 -12 euros for a pizzas, the ratio price-quality was top. The portion were more than enough and the drinks were also ok. One small remark: whilst on a sunday (when we stopped) they told us they only did pizzas, we saw that another table received another dish. We wondered why we were not given the option of the full menu. But it tasted very good and the quality was top, ultimately taht is what matters in a restaurant.

We have always struggled to find good places to eat in Cambrai. I have now eaten at La Dolci Vita 5 times. I have always found the pizza to be very good. My friend always has salmon pasta which he always says is superb. I have always found the service to be good but on the first 3 visits the owner did not really seem interested in me but the place is always full of locals. The food has always been good and the prices are reasonable.I will eat there again when I ma back in CAmbrai. Recommended......if you like pizza/pasta.

This is a bustling Italian restaurant just across the road from the train station. The atmosphere is lively and the service is very good. The menu is very large and most tastes are catered for with salads, pasta, pizza, fish and meat dishes. Be warned that the portions are substantial. The food is good without being gourmet. Definitely worth trying if you're staying in the area.

Attentive service and a wood burning oven where pizza and is baked. Great pizza. Ask for regional specialities. Do rememember to ask what these are as not all are to everybody´s taste.

We were welcomed with a smile and an English menu when we wandered into this decent Italian restaurant, situated just off Cambrai town square. The staff made every effort to accommodate our "Franglais" and spoke decent English as well. The food was very fast in coming and tasty as well. Pricing was decent - so all in all a very enjoyable experience.

A friend had highly commended Cambrai as a day-trip from my month-stay in Lille. But being France at Easter, just about everything was closed, and even the Museum was too far away to walk from the stationHowever I came upon Pausa Gusto after looking at about ten sad restaurants in the middle of town. It was the first one that had a sparkle to itAnd indeed the pepper steak was very good, and the Tutti Fruiti dessert even better. Especially the wedges of orange that brought Tutti to the FruitiThe house wine by carafe was very ordinary howeverBut a good lunch made from good produce. The rest of my day in Cambria was a flop, however. And it rained!
