This was the second time I have visited L'Endroit and both times I have been I have been impressed. It is a small restaurant but the menus are great value and the dishes imaginative enough to get the taste buds working overtime. A limited but very adequate wine list complements the menu choices. Book in advance because it really is quite small.

This isn't going to be a stuffy, white linen restaurant that one would expect when traveling to Paris. However, we were second to arrive for our 8pm booking. By 9pm, the restaurant was full and bustling with a 25 -35 avg age clientele. Service was perfect for us; didn't feel rushed whatsoever. While we were expecting a bit more from the wine list, we soon realized that we didn't have to go to great expense to find a decent bottle of wine. This restauant is good value in every regard with food to match. Whilst I wouldn't exactly consider myself a "foodie", I do quite enjoy a flavorful meal. The restaurant is a bit quirky, the wait staff refreshingly energetic and lively, I immediately felt a bit overdressed and jealous that I didn't dress more casual. Whilst the food is far from casual, it is pleasantly impressive even for the most discerning palettes. It is definitely worth a visit.

We hadn't eaten in a Leon de Bruxelles restaurant before, although we had seen them all over northern France for many years. Our choices - Poulet au maroilles and sirloin steak were both very good. The list of mostly French wines was fairly standard but well priced. The service was professional and unobtrusive. This is not the place to come for an exciting meal but for a reliable French/Belgian experience.

This is an impressive restaurant that combines excellent food, a great wine list and the best service we've ever had in France. Surprisingly enough, it isn't expensive. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening here and the profiteroles with caramel were as addictive as crack cocaine.
