The only place we could find in Wimereux that would let us buy a coffee without having a sit-down meal with it. Also one of the few places that helped us with our attempts at French rather than stuffily switching to English. So a rare find! Good strong coffee with fast, straightforward service.

Travelling on 26th May, I was looking for a restaurant for a birthday lunch. I had not at first realised that it was also Mothers' Day in France, and most restaurants were fully booked. Le Carnot were able to offer us a table for two pm, and although it was very busy, the service was friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. Good afternoon SerenadawsonThanks a lot for your commentary. We hope to see you again.Le Carnot

As a club we had not been to Wimille for many years since the old restaurant had closed. It was therefore with some trepidation that I suggested we try the resurrected Petite Braconte. Thirteen of us turned up with a great welcome from Stephanie and proceeded to have a first class lunch. The menu was varied, the wine choice expansive and the food was excellent. We had our own room and service was with a smile. Well done guys. You gave us a great afternoon. Weâll be back.

Excellent ambiance combined with friendly, helpful service without being effusive. . Menu probably suits fish lovers although others are well catered for. The coquilles st Jacques was outstanding and the Turbot absolutely wonderful. Could not fault the restaurant and will definitely return

We have been coming here for years and enjoyed theâ boothâ atmosphere and basic but good food.Today not so good.. waiter was arrogant and when our foie gras was too cold he argued this is France !Then continued to sneer and discuss our issues with other diners ( I speak fluent French). The toast with It was soft so he threw anotherportion down telling us to put the soft stuff aside.Ok..it may be a one off but not happy today .Hello ! We are sorry to hear your comment after your visit to our restaurant.Indeed, we have used to see you at the restaurant for several years. This is a misunderstanding, the waiter tried to calmly explain that we have rules in France which requires us to respect the cold chain. We are obliged to keep the foie gras in the fridge and take it out at the last moment to serve it.Our server may have been awkward but did not want to get upset. We even accepted your dog, soaked, come despite everything in the restaurant, the whole team has shown great kindness to you.We hope to see you again so that you have a more positive taste experience.

BAR- LOUNGE-RESTAURANT Décoration Branchée - Cuisine 100% Maison issue de produits Frais Belle Carte de Vins et de Bières Ambiance Décontractée
We found this lovely bar a couple of blocks from our hotel. We'd already eaten but did enjoy the hospitality, the ambience and the Limoux which was the special wine by the glass. They even have a cosy smoking area.

The end of our holiday finds us in Wimereux before the ferry. Having read the reviews we decided to book this little restaurant.. yes it looks like a house from outside, only seats around 20 so please book. Chose from the a la Carte menu. They insisted we try the Complimentary warm bread roll and salmon pate to start. Then Duck for me with melon.. sounded unusual but tasted amazing.. good old steak and French fries for hubby. Both had almond tart dessert. Half a bottle of wine. All for under 50 Euroâs .. we loved it , if we are ever here again it will be the first place we book.Waitress had enough spoken English to make us feel very comfortable ... all in all a great evening out

My wife and I ate there on Saturday evening. As with all restaurants in Wimereux, you need to book. The set menu was good but a little short so I added oysters, which were huge, and the lobster risotto with squid ink. This was very good.My wife had scorpion fish. The brasserie menu is still cooked in a Michelin starred kitchen. The only negative was that we ordered a carafe of wine and they brought out an empty carafe and proceeded to decant from a 1.5l bottle at the table.Maybe we were âwine shamedâ for not ordering a bottle. The food and service were very good but the portions not that large.Great for â¬100 though in the seafront.

Located on the seafront promenade in Wimereux, on the north eastern coast of France, La Ligeoise is renowned for its excellent seafood menu and ocean views. Wimereux is situated between Boulognet and the Cte dOpale, and La Ligeoise is tucked away
La Liégeoise definitely is a top restaurant (certainly the best in Wimereux) but in my view, it doesnât fully deserve a Michelin star. While everything was technically very good, especially the lobster dish and all desserts, some combinations were not a full success (e.g. the tomato concassé overpowering the sweetbread). Service could have been more attentive, too.

From the outside the restaurant reminded us of an american style family dinning in a strip mall. That said the menu is greatly diverse and we had very tasty appetizers, super main and delicious desert. Fairly priced and nice people. Donât worry they also have an English language menu :-). 5 minutes of A16 to Calais, Will be back in the future.Hi,Thank you for your visit and thank you for your review on TripAdvisor ! We are happy to read you enjoyed your meal and our home made food ! See you soon !Pascal Evrard, The owner.
