we discovered this restaurant by chance after we decided to get lost on the small roads in direction to Amiens.Prices are reasonable are clearly justified by the creativity and the quality of the food.Menu is not in English but the lady boss, as we say in Asia, speaks English well and can help to make the right choice.once you sit, guests get offered some amuse bouche, very refreshing and appetite opening.a set of white cheese and herbs, foie gras facon creme brulee and bouchee of snail.when I asked the owner about the specialty of this place she replied Foie Gras.so I answered, please surprise me with your foie gras. She adviced her lingot of Foie Gras with Crumble of fig / speculos and a scoop of praline ice cream. What a great and happy surprise we really enjoyed. if you like Foie Gras, go for it.We also got snails in an baked apple with herbs I forgot the name but that brings a kind of smooth garlic to the dish.overall, great meal, great service and nice atmosphere a beautifully decorated room.a must try when you are around Abbeville.

A bar in the village center on the square facing our beautiful abbaye.Mais a charming traditional restaurant not visible from the street is also available with a flowery terrace all ete.Une young and dynamic team offers local dishes and meat mainly franca
Having read the reviews on Trip Advisor I was prepared to ignore the set up. However the food was poorly prepared, badly served and was no better than what you might eat in one of those ubiquitous chains in the U.K. The wine was particularly poor. Would not recommend.

We arrived and looked around for a nice place to eat, Saturday night so everywhere was open. This looked so nice. Clean white table cloths, lovely glasses so it had to be good right? Nice menu with loads of choices, somebody trying really hard. So I went in and booked a tableWell the chef must have been off or had an off night. I had Carpaccio Saint Jacques followed by Cod. The scallops were so cold, as though they had been in the fridge all day, followed by cod that I should have sent back, because it was so over cooked and dry. My wife did sent her main course back because it was cold. Everting looked wonderful but just didn't tast goodAfter the meal we discussed it, my wife said thatâs it last chance never again, I was less adamant, but then I read the reviews. Iâd give them another go next time

The food was very good and well presented and the staff were pleasant and efficient also. They even had a menu in English and this was offered without the need to ask for it. Great stuff

We were staying at the Ibis near by and wanted to find a restaurant that we could walk to. We settled on Le Comptoir du Malt as we thought it was a craft brewery / restaurant, so we were a little disappointed that it turned out to be a chain similar to Harvester. But we neednât have worried, the food was really good, authentic and simple French grub. I had the Ham Joint braised in Beer and the Tarte Tatin. I would recommend them both. The service was friendly, if a little slow. But over all it was a good experience.

Whilst staying close to Abbeville, we decided to visit the place on a Sunday lunchtime, only to be disappointed that almost everything in the town centre was closed. As we were leaving, we spotted this restaurant on a roundabout on the edge of town. Don't be put off by the location, it was great! The food (mostly seafood themed unsurprisingly) was delicious and the personal service from the owner was excellent - even though we showed up minutes before lunchtime last orders - we weren't rushed out afterwards either.

Read the other reviews and had to go here. Wasn't disappointed. 3 courses, selection of cheeses and a drink - beer, wine or soft drink for EUR14.50. Good home style cooking and a large selection. The service is good and even though little English is spoken the waiters and waitresses tried hard to help us translate the meals into English. Don't be put off by the outside of the place and the number of trucks parked outside. Will definitely be back if we are passing through the area. Even open on Mondays when the rest of Abbeville is closed down for the day.
