A really pleasant and unexpectedly surprising stay! The place and the area exceeded expectation although the members of the really kind staff need a small upgrade in totally professionalism matters. …but these are small details that made no difference finally in our stay.

This typical house completely renovated, offer you the charm of the “Basque Country”.
Great hotel in the heart of the Basque country. Hasparren is nma great base to visit the surroundings and the hotel is very nice, clean modern rooms with everything you need and with a great staff always making sure you have everything you need. Look no further if you want to visit the region and don't want to pay crazy hotel fees! We will go again.

We have been regular visitors to southwest France for more than 10 years and have stayed at numerous chambres d'hotes. Haitz Ondo is among the very best. A charming traditional basque house with splendid views of the village and surrounding hills. Our host Sandrine was warming welcoming and generous with assistance and with a deep knowledge of the beautiful countryside. This was "home away from home". We came for a night and stayed for five. We hope to return. Peter and Carina, Sydney, Australia
