Visited Your Establishment Tonight And Was Told The Wait Would Be 1 Hour....No Problem (an hour went by and was still waiting), Went Up And Asked When We Might Be Seated After Waiting An Hour And Was Told Another 20 Minutes!!!!....Make Up Your Might....The Food Is Good But Not For That Long Of A Wait!

My local favorite. Spacious, with large tables to spread out on, booths and individual tables too. Seating is not crammed together as in many shops. You can breathe... Living room style seating as well, for those casual visits and intimate chats. The owners are locals, commited to the shop and community. Great, freshly brewed coffee and scrumptious sandwiches, made to order. Sinfully delicious, locally baked-goods. Free musical entertainment on most Thursday and Friday nights. A perfect place to get some work done or meet a friend. Service with a smile.
If you are looking for a good place to meet with friends in a relaxed atmosphere to have a business meeting or just visit for a while, this is the best place in the Hartland, Mi. area.
I didn't order a coffee so I can't review that but I did enjoy a bagel (toasted and buttered) for only a dollar.

This was a great and unique find nearby and it helped to satisfy my craving for ice cream. Great service - they are eager to help with drive through and the atmosphere is really well suited for many different types of groups.

We had over 15 in our party, the place was packed, yet the waitress treated us like we were the only ones there. A large glass of wine was only $7.50. Prices were competitive for a very nice meal. The appetizers - calamari and stuffed mushrooms were good.
A nice atmosphere and great place to eat!

The Tony Sacco's Coal Oven Pizza concept was started by three friends from Michigan-Chuck Senatore, George Kurajian and Tony Sacco. Dissatisfied with today's mass produced, cost before quality pizzas, they set out to bring back the original taste and quality of pizza-the way it was made when the first pizzerias were opened in the early 1900's. They recognized that the first and most obvious step was an uncompromising commitment to using only the best ingredients, from homemade dough and sauce to the finest quality cheeses and toppings. But they also knew that the real secret was the method of cooking-in a coal oven, a mainstay of the early pizza restaurants in the Northwest. With its intense heat, a coal oven is able to cook evenly and quickly to create a pizza with a subtle, smoky flavor, crispy crust and ingredients that maintain their wonderful flavor and texture. The next challenge was to design and build their first location. They knew having menu items that focused on quality over quantity was critical. They also felt a need to create an atmosphere that, while more upscale than your typical pizzeria, was still warm and family friendly, Their goal was realized in 2008 with the opening of the first Tony Sacco's Coal Oven Pizza restaurant in Estero, FL. With its upscale interior décor, the open pizza production area, and friendly well trained staff, they created an atmosphere that appeals to discriminating and casual diners alike. The Estero location was an instant success. Its popularity generated significant interest from customers, friends and strangers wanting to open a Tony Sacco's Coal Oven Pizza restaurant of their own, making the decision to expand the brand an easy one. The group decided on franchising as the primary method of expansion and are now located in Florida, Arizona, Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.
This is a trendy pizza place with the wood oven gimmick. We each got our own pizzas and they were good. It wasn't any different than Mod pizza but was more expensive. While it did not taste bad we probably will not go back. Mod and Blaze pizza offer the same thing on a more family budget and have faster service. Their garlic bread bits were good but not as rave worthy as our server made them sound. It's OK, try it and see if you like it.

I like Biggby and generally support it whenever I can. I have been to 8 or 10 different locations for this regional chain and have found them all to be consistently good. This shop was up to standards in that respect. The location was very easy to access off the highway (US23) on MI59. The storefront was sharp and recognizable with the familiar Biggby colors and logo. The interior was fresh and well kept. It looked like it conformed very closely to the corporate decor. The service was friendly and efficient while the dark roast coffee they offered that day facilitated the nice break I needed on my traverse home. The price was what I expected for a medium coffee. I would always recommend Biggby if you need a java break.

We we're in the area today at lunch time and decided against the #1 location (Black Rock Bar &Grill) after seeing their menu and determining it's just another chain-like-chili's menu. Just a couple doors over was the Fiesta Mexican grill and TA reviewers help guide me away from that choice, mainly because the greasy chips and not very good salsa, which are high priority for me.
Thanks to the TA reviewers we found La Herradura just down the road less than a mile. Salsa was good, but on the mild side. My fajitas were outstanding and my husband really enjoyed his lunch special L-14 which was a hot and spicy burrito filled with rice, beans, shredded chicken and beef. It came with a small side of tender beef tips.
All around, very pleased with this clean restaurant with very good service and quality food.

Nancy the owner is the cook, baker and antique collector. She manages the business by herself and does a fantastic job of welcoming her guest and making sure everything is first class. She is very attentive to each guest. Harland is a little off the beaten path, but it is well worth it to discover a new favorite eatery. She has over seventy five teas on hand. One can savor them in house or take some home for later or as a gift for a fellow tea lover. I love the ambiance! A cross between elegant and romantic. Tables are adorned with white linen table cloths and flowers. The tea is sold by the pot. She has a fixed price for the luncheon meal which includes entree, salad or soup and pumpkin bread. Nancy also offers full afternoon tea service. Her tea room is available for private functions. I love dining on her scrumptious food surrounded in the beautiful setting she has created. I love the chicken salad a creature of habit-not trying anything different unless I nimble off my husband's plate. Reservations are a must and you need to call to secure them. When one is finished dining it is time to shop. Se has a first floor gift shop and the upper story of the house is full of tempting items for you to browse. This is a perfect place to shop for that special gift. Guys if you love tea this is the place for you-not for girls only! On this visit I had the chicken salad and my hubby had the quiche, both were accompanied with the Pumpkin bread. I am not a pumpkin lover, but this bread is yummy. Never to early to gift shop-I picked up a beautiful necklace for my sister.

I finally tried a breakfast sandwich meal and it was really great. Although it was busy the service the people working there did their best to get to everyone in a timely manner.
My only suggestion would be to keep new employees off the main inside counter in the busy morning hours. She was trying very hard but she wasn't up to the challenge and it was frustrating for her and the patrons waiting in the long line. Another employee saw the situation and stepped in to help eliminate the growing problem but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Manager should have been paying more attention to this situation. This could be a timely issue once the Dunkin Donuts opens right across the street. Morning patrons are going to go where good food is served in a fast manner to get them back on the road.
