Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Tallinn. Tallinn's atmospheric Old Town is an enthralling hodgepodge of medieval streets and spires. It's a small city, and the tourist areas are safe and easily explored on foot. Buy a Tallinn Card if intending to use buses, trolleys or trams. For a look into Tallinn's past, visit Rocca-al-Mare Open Air Museum's typical rural Estonian taverns, windmills and watermills, see the onion-domed 1900 cathedral or join the bustle in historic Town Hall Square. St. Olav's spire was once the tallest in the world.

We found this restaurant looking for a varied menu, with beef, fish, pasta and salad. It was all delicious and beautifully served without being overly fussy. The service was terrific and we all enjoyed our meal and time here very much. In addition, we had a great bottle of wine with dinner, and gelato and tiramisu. We will be back!

Simple but elegant, with a soaring old ceiling, this restaurant close by the Italian embassy does everything very well. Quality is high, traditional dishes have subtle, unusual touches. Homemade ice creams are lovely. Our wait person was competent and charming. - The dinner was just right.

Italian place, Italian cuisine, Italian heart....Italian dining is much more than pizza and pasta. Itâs a celebration of life with food, wine and music. All specialty ingredients are sourced out for the best quality. We import our dry pastas, wines, hard
Based on good reviews thought we'd give this place a try. One of the specials was frutti de mare' pizza (sp?), Sounded different and we live seafood so gave it a try. My spouse ordered this over linguini. The pizza crust was thin and tough, and the topping was spoiled by sand in every bite. The same with linguini, bottome of the plate was very gray and could see the sand particles. Now I've made sauce with fresh clams and understand that some sand particles get through the cleaning process, but this was way too much. Pretty pricey as well, for what we ordered - small pizza, linguini dish, 1 salad to share and 2 bottled beers. With tip, $85.No problem with the service, our waiter was attentive.

You will find us in the heart of Old Town, Katariina's Walk. Traditional, good Italian cuisine is offered in an enchanting atmosphere.
We stumbled on this cosy restaurant on a rainy day exploring Tallinn. Very glad we did as our meals were delicious (risotto and tortellini) at reasonable prices. The house red was good too. Friendly and efficient staff. A very enjoyable meal and place to escape the rain!

GIANNI is a restaurant of elegant atmosphere that has also a small cafeteria by its side. Cafeteria offers a wide breakfast menu, daily offers and fresh pastry. The restaurant is a perfect place to have dinner for the classical Italian cuisine admirer. GI
We went to Gianni for a late dinner. My choice was beef carpaccio with black truffle. The beef was garnished with the lowest quality not-ripe cherry tomatoes and stale pine nuts. The truffle resembled wood shavings. 13 euroMy secondi was catfish in hot tomato sauce. The fish was cooked to a cotton wool consistency and served in a mashed cherry tomato puree (see above) and some olives. There was hardly any salt or pepper to make it hot neither. 26 euroThe wine was good, the bread and olive oil on the table too. Although this place has a good reputation in Tallinn, I will never go there again. We are very sad to hear about your negative experience. We work hard everyday to give our guests positive emotions by offering food made with passion, the best wines from Italy and high quality service. But as it is in life, once in a while we make mistakes and not always everything turns out perfect. Sometimes however, it is just a matter of taste..

Originally a delishop for wines and hams that came through Raekoja plats, it was transformed into a wine bar and general store. After the 2008 flood the cellars were restored. Under an old ceiling, Swedish style, is now possible to eat in this suggestivs,
We dropped by first time for a late lunch and enjoyed good Italian food and the owner Marco's enthusiasm for wines. We noticed three other tables were eating the Antipasti and commenting on its variety and freshness. So on our last day in Tallinn we went back and had this brilliant combination of meats, cheeses and olives, etc washed down by their Valpolicella Ripasso 2015 which is a perfect red for the dish and lunchtime. To eat Italian food of this quality in Estonia was a surprise and a joy. There was a truffle cheese that was new to us and the basic ham was so succulent. Wow! Do go.

Italian Pizza meets Estonian taste! We guarantee Best quality products, cozy atmosphere and friendly client service!
Ingredients are of high quality and the pizzas were very well executed, the place could have been a bit bigger but however we had a great dinner. Staff was friendly (asked for spicy oil, which they provided and also invited me to taste garlic oil!) and very reactive (at some point I notified them soap in the bathroom was running low, by the end of the meal I had the pleasure to see it was fixed!)

Fine Dining, great and real Italian food, fresh ingredients, nice interior, great value for the high quality of the food.
Well there is no doubt that the food is spectacular, and the menu is fine..... however the service I would describe as âtoo eager â. So when you both order the same thing and your partner finishes before you..... is it good service to remove his plate whilst you are still eating yours? Or when your partner finishes his side salad and the plate goes but you carry on eating yours... then she comes to take it away but you gently remind her that your stil eating it!! ...... little things...... but itâs the little things that count. Fantastic food...... but the âover excitedâ service would make me not come again...... sorry xOur excuses, the tall girl is just new in our stuff and she just is too excited on cleaning. We spoke already about the matter.
