I went for breakfast with excitement due to the great reviews I’d heard from a friend. The venue is beautiful, the menu was imaginative, the staff was friendly and the food came pretty quickly. However, neither the food nor the coffee were tasty, especially at their price points. Also, part of my order was initially missing and I had to follow up on it. Despite this, I was willing to give it another chance because everyone has off days and the rest of the menu still looked very appetizing. Unfortunately, when I received the bill I learned for the first time that the prices were VAT exclusive. I believe we should have been told beforehand, as this could have impacted our order choices. Finding this out at the very end just felt sneaky and dishonest. Hi there- thank you so much for your review. We really value your feedback. We are pleased you found some things agreeable but we apologise profusely that you were disappointed with the tastes. Do you have any suggestions on how we can make this better for your next visit? The VAT incident is the first we have had as at the bottom of the menu it does say not inclusive of VAT but going forth we will make sure this is more visible to avoid unhappiness and any confusion- our apologies. Would it be possible to have your contact details so we can speak with you directly to find out how we can make it up to you in the future? Many thanks, The Bistro

I love coming here the staff are so helpful, friendly and super accommodating. They have great opening and closing hours which you don't find very often in Harare for a garden coffee shop. I love all their flavored coffees and their cakes. I think their garden and play area for the children need working on but besides that would come to Vanilla Moon any day! :)Hi Naz AThank you so much for your positive feedback. We just wanted to let you know that the construction of our new kids jungle gym/Wendy House combination has already begun. When this is complete in a few weeks time (hopefully!) we will actually remove the old jungle gym units completely.Work on our garden is an ongoing project and we are adding and changing bits here and there all the time.We look forward to you visiting us again!Kind regardsKim

Carly and HD are highly talented chefs who give their fibers a master chef experience right here in Zimbabwe. I kept thinking ' this culinary experience ' is world class and i have not yet experienced anything of the same quality in Zinbabwe. The venue is a must . It is a pity they are not open as a restaurant on daily basis.
