Welcome to the Hapeville Dwarf House, home of Chick-fil-A! On May 26, 1946, Truett Cathy and his brother Ben Cathy opened up a small restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia called the Dwarf Grill. What started out as a small dream turned into over 2,000 restaurants nationwide. 70 years and one name change later, the Hapeville Dwarf House is thriving today. Unlike your typical Chick-fil-A, the Hapeville Dwarf House has a full-service side and is open 24 hours, 6 days a week. But, don't worry, you can find everything you love on Chick-fil-A's menu here, plus some. Come on in for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or even a Midnight snack. We'll be open (except on Sunday's)! NEW! We Cater! Whether it's a business meeting, event, or family reunion, you name it, we can cater it! Check out our website for our catering menu.
I didn't know when I stopped that this is THE original place of Chick-fil-A. They have a bronze statue and everything. I did notice it was a very busy place. They still have a seated area where they wait your table. There is parking on the side and in the back, and along the street. I had a wait for my to-go order but not that long.

It's starts with WOW and goes up from there. Really cool place next to airport. Small warm and friendly, get reservations. Chefs special was blackened mahi mahi, with shrimp and wonderful secret sauce over bed of rice. Entire staff was wonderful, food was beyond outstanding. Nice wine by the glass selection.

As a rule I don't like cupcakes because they tend to be dry. There is always an exception. This place is that exception. Cupcakes - we got a variety- were all moist and delicious. Frosting was a tasty treat and also beautifully presented. We will use this bakery again. You should try for yourself.

Wow! We haven’t been here in years! It may even be better (if that was possible). The brisket is so tender and flavorful and the potato salad is out of this world! I had collards this time as well-man! Everything was fantastic! A definite stop if you are going through Atlanta!

A pub-style restaurant near the Atlanta Airport.
This was a birthday treat, and the notion of an English pub-like environment sounded fun. The building is pretty on the outside. Inside, it is hollow-sounding and feels "cold"--not literally cold, but echoing and empty. There are Guinness signs on the walls, but you can't order a Guinness. Four of us generated a bill for $175, including tip, which was hardly justified by the food. The $40 8 ounce filet was nothing special, and the asparagus spears which accompanied the very firm mashed potatoes were as thick as your thumb and crunchy. The chopped salad was disagreeably cold and with a sweetness that was not appealing. Food took a long time arriving, and service came with an annoyingly repeated, "Is everything delicious?" The fried onion rings appetizer was very good, and the pies for dessert were fine enough. We will never return, and we very much regret the choice for what was supposed to be a special dinner,

Tho it's called BBQ kitchen, I've never ordered BBQ there. Many years ago it was a 24 restaurant and I usually had breakfast. Visiting Atlanta some 40 years later, I found it to be tried and true. Love the freshly prepared entrees and the vegetable selection with southern cornbread.

It’s a must to stop here when in Atlanta!!! The food and drinks will never let you down. This place is nothing fancy but if you’re in the mood for some “slap your momma gumbo and crab legs” then stop here. No doubt!! Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
