Won a local contest for a free dinner at Cravings tonight and a Beach Boys tribute band. The food was generous portions and hot, the staff friendly and yes we tipped despite getting the meal for free.
The strawberry and vanilla milkshakes were really good and thick, the kind that give you brain freeze.
The AAA steak was done as requested well and very tender with green beans and a generous amount of fries.
The lasagma was tasty and hot, the ceaser salad plentiful, and the garlic bread with cheese tasty and hot.
I saw the plates of fish and chips specials as delivered to other tables which were huge with home made coleslaw yum, next time.
Nice homestyle comfort food restaurant.

Love Harvey's but every time I visit that location its busy and have a very long lineup. It took us over 20 min just to get to the counter and another 20 min to get our order so if you're in no rush then go and enjoy it. The food is good the staff are great and I know they were doing their best I just think they need more staff at dinner and lunch time.

We had the lunch special which was scalloped potatoes and ham. It was served on a platter - 2 slices of ham, spoonful of potatoes, green beans, really nice salad and dessert - rice pudding or icecream for $12.99 - excellent value. Seniors could easily share the meal.

You can smell the goodness before you open the door. The goodies look like they are made by an artist. With everything they have to offer, I always get a dozen honey dipped doughnuts. I also drive past a few tim Hortons on my way.Schultz Bakery brings me to Hanover.

The Stork Club has been around since I've been a kid. It is a well-known summer treat spot for both the towns folk and cottages. It is becoming pricey but they have lots of hot and frozen treats to indulge on. They've cleaned the place up and it with the bright colours it's still a unique staple to Hanover. The food is good. The service can be slow when busy. I'll go again this summer.

I've developed the opinion that any restaurant that serves free popcorn while you wait for you meal is a great restaurant, and this restaurant stands true. I've eaten here numerous times over the years and the popcorn is always tasty..... but the rest of the meal is amazing. Always fresh ingredients, nothing is fried. Prices are reasonable and they have a great selection on tap, including some local gems. Highly recommend!!

Crabby Joe's Tap & Grill offers a casual, relaxed family friendly restaurant and bar experience and a menu with something for everyone. Good Food... Good Fun... Bad Temper!
We visited around 6 pm on a Friday. We were told it would be a 10-15 minute wait for a table, so we sat in the car, since it was parked right at the door. It was less than that, and the greeter actually waved us in from the door. Service was just as quick, with drinks and appetizers arriving in good time. The onion rings are very good, with light batter, and not greasy at all. The French onion soup was ok, nothing really wrong with it, but just ok. I don't think it was baked at all, the cheese was melted but not browned anywhere.
We all got burgers, and they are VERY tasty. The tasted like they had just come off the bbq back home, with a great grilled flavour.
My only disappointment was the french fries. Crabby Joe's, your fry game is WEAK. I don't mind skin-on fries, but there were too many skinny pieces that were all peel and no potato. Overall, the fries were just too chewy. Bit of a let down, after all the other good food.
I still highly recommend the place, though.

Hanover Raceway: With a coupon in hand we visited the Coach House
restaurant for lunch. We were very surprise at the friendliness and
pleasantness of the staff. The decor on the walls of older but still
functional board games was very intriguing and nostalgic. Our server
was very courteous and delivered our coffee promptly giving us time to
time to look over the varied menu.
Our server returned in a short time to take our order of pulled pork
sandwich and beef dip Sandwich. Coffee was excellent and was refilled
on numerous occasions. The meal came on a very hot plate with a
substantial amount of fresh cut fries and the sandwich's were mounded
with meat and tasty pickle to the side. We were very presently
surprised that the invoice including gratuity was less than $ 25. We
will definitely be back to try the entree's.
Well worth the visit to the Coach House.

The restaurant is very clean even the washrooms and it was empty at the time we were there.
I didnt like the drink selections as they dont have coffee or tea so I just had a cup of water. I had never been before it's a nice fresh option to regular fast food, everything was freshly cut.
I had a pita with lettuce, red onion, cucumber, tomato, croutons, swiss cheese, chicken and bacon. The chicken and bacon are done on the grill you dont get a lot, then stuffed in with the vegetables add caeser dressing then grill the whole thing.
It was tasty and fresh. I guess I am not used to going out to a fast food lunch like this I wasnt expecting 2 pitas to come to $20. I am told by my daughter it is excellent value for the money.
It was a dining experience I dont usually have.
