There were four of us on a Friday night. We order 2 ice creams at the counter. Service was good. Juan let us try a few flavors. We order 2 dishes, with four scoops each, at the price of 7,60 dollars.
We got more ice cream than we could eat, we left more than half behind. The banana ice cream did not taste like banana, the lemon did not taste like lemon and the chocolate was very lame. Altogether, very disappointing for the four of us. Baskin and Robins is probably better.

I'm no donut connoisseur (I only get donuts maybe 1x/mo at best), but these definitely hit the sweet spot for me. The regular glazed donuts come out puffy and warm, and the old-fashioned are nice and substantial.
I think it's one of the only shops in town, so I'm just grateful that the place seems relatively clean, the people are nice, and the donuts are fresh. I agree with the other review in that you do not go to a donut shop for the décor!
If you're looking for a good basic donut, you can't go wrong here.

Had some business in Hanford so stopped by and were pleasantly surprised to find good Mediterranean - Middle Eastern food. The lamb dishes were excellent as was the appetizer/combo plate. Like the hummus and baba ganoush, good vegetable sides, and a waitress who show up every minutes with a refill of the iced tea. Lots of locals, regulars seemed to be in and out, some getting take - out. Prices seemed fair for the generous portions and quality of preparation. Would definitely come back for some nice ethnic-focused food.

Had this for lunch during the weekday. Chicken fried steak and two orders of their new chimichurri Tri-Tip Sandwich. CFS was a little smaller than the dinner one but was a lot of meat and potatoes and good.
When one of our group bit into their sandwich they thought it was hot and on further bites it was OK. I liked the sandwich at first but we both will not order it again. Not that it is bad but not our taste.
Always enjoyed Black Bear but some times not to our liking. Others might disagree.

We tried this Ice Cream place after eating at one of the restaurants in the area and was treated to one of the best Rocky Road ice cream we ever tasted. My wife and I love Rocky Road and was hesitant at first to try the custom freshly made kind. However, upon tasting it, we love it so much that we have been back three times in the past week. They have a lot of varieties that anyone can try and see what fits their taste buds.

Mike moved his business from main street and a small abndoned gas station to a much larger place and the customers followed. Thr hamburgers are big, thick, juicy and the best. He does serve other sandwiches which are very good also. Ample portions of fries. Quick service. A must-try hamburger.

Figaro's has fresh delicious food. Portions are good size. The chop-chop salad is really good. The chicken tortilla soup is not on the regular menu, but is great in cold weather. It's a regular lunch stop. Great for solo, couples, business, & family meals. They also make great party platters.

This is a real hidden jewel. The food is good, and comes to you HOT....and quickly. My only complaint and it is with all restaurants that have thick mugs, the heat is absorbed into the mug and the coffee cools quickly. Other than that, I ordered a California omelet with crispy hashbrowns.....delicious.

Both times I tried going here, resulted in going somewhere else because service was slow and busy & a customer before us found a cockroach in their plate which is a no no for me. Other than the nice outisde decor, its pretty overrated in my book.
