Located at intersection of Rte. 20 and Allen's Corner, this little restaurant offers the best and freshest breakfasts in the area. Limited seating but worth the wait. The service is fantastic, our favorite, Dana, not only knows us but knows what our order is that day.
By the way, if you miss breakfast, they have fresh, non-frozen burgers for lunch.
Not a place to miss if you're in the area!

Best chocolate mint and tropical blizzards around. Just kitty korner from Chic-N-Dip and down the street from Red Ox.

We had dinner the other night and decided to move on. This used to be one of our favorite places. My wife had prime rib and was very disappointed due to all of the fat on her cut. She ordered medium rare and it mooed when she stuck a fork in it. The baked potato was not crisp and was hanging around for some time. I had the walleye and only got half a fish. It was tasty, but not enough. The garlic mashed potatoes were awful. The only redeeming grace was the salad bar. The steaks were expensive. The waitress was efficient and friendly. Big time prices out in the country.

Not a ton of ambiance its a strip mall, kind of noisy inside. Very crowded but excellent service, seated right away. Food; We had breakfast items and it was perfect. I'm super picky but this food was spot on, best hash browns I have had. Server on point not overly friendly but did her job very well. Perfect timing on all aspects of the meal and service. Food was prepared excellent, portions were large. I cant nit pick one complaint. Will for sure visit again, I hope soon!

The wife and I have been here twice and both times the service was great. A must try is the Italian beef egg roll appetizer! It's got a rustic ambiance and an OK beer selection, although the last time we went the food was just average, we'll still frequent this neighborhood gem.

Very friendly staff, country setting, very unique atmosphere, very inviting. Inside seating is limited but outdoor heated seating does exist. Regarding the ice cream we had butter pecan and chocolate. The ice cream may be the best we have ever had! The waffle cones were made on the spot, talk about fresh!

We stopped by the Huntley Dairy Mart while passing through Huntley on a driving trip and enjoyed a classic lunch outside with awesomely tasty seasoned fries and some burgers. And don't forget the ice cream treats - they are killer here. Awesome service, reasonable prices, and tasty food. If you're going through Huntley and are hungry, this is a spot not to miss.

I called ahead and ordered 20 pieces of brosted chicken as my first sample of this take out place. My order was ready on my arrival (20 minutes)! I had ordered extra to have "leftovers" for the next day! Guess What? There were no leftovers, my company consumed all the chicken because it was great. Very jucy with very crispy/chrunchy breading. This was a big hit, and fed eight very big eaters! I served with hawaiian roles and ears of corn.....Easiest meal ever!

Places like this remind me to look past the stereotypical Chicago VT, River North, Streeterville restaurants - and take an afternoon drive to a place I would have blinked (and missed) going through. Burlington, Illinois - just off Route 47 in the far (far) west suburbs of Chicago lies a restaurant that steps back in time with regards to décor, music and the type of sincere service we remember growing up. Yes, sincerely nice people. So how good can the food be? Hello Sunday night and the special was ribs (about $14) . Fall off the bone ribs offered in two different sauces. Unlimited salad bar, soup, fresh bread (and limited desserts at salad bar) are all included. Husband had 12 oz. stuffed filet mignon (garlic, bleu cheese, butter). We all have those restaurant that we compare every "great" dining experience to such as jambalaya in New Orleans, jerk chicken in Negril and so on. From this dining experience alone - I'd rank the ribs and filet in the top 10. Yes, I said it. A completely satisfying dinner, casual and relaxed experience and worth the time and completely reasonable bill (total tab $65 not including tip). FYI - Anne - our server - was perfection. Much like being back home and having Aunt Bea waiting on you at Thanksgiving.

Vince's is located in a small strip mall on Route 20 (named Higgins Road out this way) just west of Route 47. It is a small place, food is good, prices are reasonable. Two pizzas and two rounds of modest drinks is about $40. Ambiance is good. They offer a discount when you pay with cash. While we've not done it, they appear to have a very busy takeout business. We like the gluten free option for their pizzas.
