The patio for this place is so cute and cozy - but it was a rainy day so we sat indoors. Itâs a small interior, so it wasnât possible to escape all the fussy baby noises. Not the restaurantâs fault! But itâs condensed seating, so just beware if youâre wanting a romantic experience that it may be affected. Itâs a cool, old timey interior with loads to look at, but per the other review I read of here, it could use a cleaning/dusting and there are a lot of flies everywhere. Sweet potato fries were on point! But the quesadilla was so soggy on the bottom it wasnât much fun, (probably microwaved to melt cheese). The service was average. Wine prices are very very high. $17 for a 9 oz of Stoneleigh is among the highest prices in the area - especially for a small pub. If I were in the area, Iâd pick Brassie Pub 10/10 times. (Also, the ceiling seriously looked like itâs buckling. Kids running upstairs sounds resonate in the dining area.)

A British style pub serving Fish & Chips. Whatâs next, Bangers & Mashed? Mushy Peas? YUP! The whole gambit. Itâs styled just like most pubs. Dark in some corners. Busy close to the bar. Very good sized portions and excellent price. Great place for an inexpensive date night meal. Wonât break the bank for sure. Also a well stocked bar for âadult beveragesâ.There were several âtake outâ deliveries picked up while were there so the menu seems portable.

We serve authentic British Style Fish & Chips and you can eat in or take out at our location. We also serve other popular British meals like meat pies. Mushy Peas, The Fish Drs own Curry Sauce for dipping Chips and Housemade coleslaw are always great side
Just LOVE the owner and staff....they make you feel like family, and their food is the same.....always fresh, always, quick, and especially delicious fish and chips. Parking is at a premium...when it's busy, it's BUSY!!Sorry itâs late, but huge thank you Mikey, we try our best and do know the parking is not good, but in busy days people find places lol. Our staff try really hard to get the food cooked and out in a reasonable time, but like Iâve always said if the shop was dead all the time, a, we wouldnât be here and b, would you continue shipping where others donâtThanks again

Old fashioned English cookery; Teas from around the world
My first visit to this cozy well-kept tea room/restaurant was good.My friend enjoyed the roasted red pepper and sweet potato soup of the day, and I enjoyed the quiche of the day (broccoli-carmelized onion) with garden salad.Service decent, good pot of tea, all around positive experience.Hope to return again...very glad to sit near a fireplace today!
