I stayed one night in room 519. Nice room with 4-star standard, overlooking the town's east square. The hotel is quite delicate. I didn't have anything to eat there, just sleep. Unfortunately, it took me 25 minutes (!) to check in as they were understaffed. Only one clerk behind the desk. Except from this, everything was very good. Nice location in the middle of town centre, close to everything.

Choose the Scandic Hamar hotel and enjoy a quiet, central location near Lake Mjosa. 302 comfortable rooms, 2 restaurants and bar. Spend time in our gym or do business in 17 meeting rooms in total of 4500m2. An hour from the airport.
High standard town hotel, in walking distance to Hamar center. Our double room provided everything a guest can dream of. Good quality of bed, well thought-of bathroom with lots of shelves to put items on. Large & excellent breakfast buffet, incl. professional coffee machine with lots of choices. The only downside: reception area a bit cold and oversized. No atmosphere at bar.

Hotel right next to the viking ship in Hamar. We have rooms and apartments, in addition to lunch and dinner.
We stayed to nights in a cabin. The room was clean and inviting. Everything was good and a surprise since this is the first time I visit a hostel and I didn't expect it to be this great ?. I would rate the staff and surroundings and accommodations to 4 star's. Nice restaurant with good breakfast and lunch. Short walk to downtown. Great bed ♥️ very good value for the money. I will be back.

With fantastic views of Lake Mjøsa and situated just 80 metres from the railway station, Hamar’s oldest hotel – Victoria Hotel Hamar – boasts a unique location. It offers 161 renovated rooms and a modern conference suite, and you can watch major sports events while enjoying the informal atmosphere of one of the restaurants in Victoriaquarter.. The lakeside city of Hamar is known for its cultural festivals, paddle steamer trips aboard Skibladner and, not least, the Olympic “Viking Ship” skating arena. Hamar is a perfect starting point for nature and sport experiences, such as fishing, cycling, golf, skiing and skating. Welcome to Voctoria Hotel Hamar in historic Hamar. Ask about course and conference offers.
What a hot place! And that’s not a complement! Probably not an issue in winter, but was now. We’ve been on a road trip, and visited many hotels, this was by far the worst hotel. Great beds, nice bathroom, but over 30 degrees in the room ( brought thermonentor with us, the actual degree was 33) and no climate control. We had payed extra to get a better room, but that was money down the drain. We asked the lady in the reception if we could get a fan (we had stayed at Thorn Panorama in Oslo and they handed out fans). The lady in the reception told us , no fans but, night cooling would start at 23.00 in their ventilation system , did not happen. I ended up taking an ice cold shower at 2.00 in the morning, my husband went for a two hour walk between 1.00-3.00. Just to stay cold. The overall reaction at the reception when I talked about our extreme heat problem was unfotunately ignorant, to say the least. We have spent 9 days, in various Norwegian cities and hotels, same outside temperature, this was our only bad experience.

Vi bodde 4p i en stuga. Rent och fint. Allt fanns som vi behövde. Komplett kök. Lagade medhavd middag och frukost. Härliga sängar. Bra egen toa med dusch. Saknade inget. Dessutom en undarbar utsikt över Hamar med omnejd. Lungt och skönt. Foto bifogas tagna direkt från altanen till stugan. Kan verkligen rekomenderas. Tack för denna gången.
