Very Very simple restaurant with excellent and friendly service. But it is the local food of the Vlamingen that makes it special. Just enjoy a typical flemish platter and eat like you feel at home.

Nice dish prepared with fresh products, tasty but the menu is prepared without any 'risk' (taste association)
service is correct and professional
personally, the proposed wines are a bit too expensive for that type of restaurant.
I need to point out a negative point...the restroom were not....

The ambiance of the restaurant was about average, but the service and food were great. My family and I, plus extended family, went there on thursday. The waiter was nice and quick to show us an available seat inside which accommodated us appropriately. The servings are very large, so if you have a child I would suggest to ask for a smaller serving. The chicken caesar salad was completely divine. It wasn't even that large a portion as the rest of the food, but it was very filling. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who was visiting Halle, and wanted to eat at a nice affordable restaurant.

What do you need more...? The chef makes healthy seasonal food from all over the globe. The menu changes on a regular basis but also keeps some great classics. A nice selection of wraps, curries, pasta and salads. Love the green curry and Jambalaya which are on the menu for the moment. To my knowledge the only place in town with a decent choice for vegetarians as well.

During or latest visit no surprises: a decent meal for a decent price.
We started wit a Kirr and Camapari with (fresh!) orange juice; As appetizers we got some some spicy turnip, a courget soup and a fish croquette. Not exceptional but nice and tasty.
As starters we had steamed Dim Sum and schrimp beignets. Again satisfactory.
Then we had a decent Peking Duck and Beef with Asparagus and Shitake. The latter was rather disappointing since we could not find any asparagus in the plate..

Great little restaurant in Halle near the old Monastery. Classic Belgian/French dishes with a contant quality. A keeper !

This is a restaurant with an attractive and well elaborated concept supported by a passionated team. The menu is limited but that is rather another proof of quality. Vegetables are getting special attention! Some dishes were simply delicious, others looked also terrific but still require some finetuning. Interesting wines per glass are completing a very nice dining experience.

It is now the season for mussels and you can have great ones here! Apart from that, you will find all the traditional Belgium dishes which are prepared with notable care and attention. I like my steak tartar with a little touch of truffle.
Don't miss the nice fries and lovely desserts here.
