This is the only restaurant we ever get takeaways from. We only discovered Ziggys a year ago but it has never failed to please. We have ordered in various different ways - over the phone, on their website & via JustEat, all of which have been delivered on time, hot & delicious. Our family is very fussy about curries so I can only commend them - thanks Ziggys. (We've never visited the restaurant to eat in so I can't comment there.)

Went to cafe Passion on Thursday with friends and it was as good as always. We always have the haloumi which is really tasty and you get a very generous portion. The lamb kebab is excellent and is very tender. Can't fault the food at all.

Child friendly, Group party,Welcome.
Went for a family group celebration meal on a Saturday evening. It was very warm and welcoming and seemed busy so definately pre-book. Waitors were attentive, friendly and helpful. Food was all lovely, plenty of choice, good portions and reasonably priced. Can't believe I've never tried it before, a hidden gem, will be going back, would much rather go here than those horrible chain restaurants like at Broad Street Plaza :)

We were visiting Halifax and saw this pub on the TripAdvisor website. Someone said best steak pie ever. My husband being a connoisseur on steak pies (he loves them) felt we just had to go.
It was quite a way out of the centre of Halifax we spotted it on our way so we took a taxi which cost £4.60.
Very nice pub good choice of beers and a very warm welcome from the waitress. Extensive menu with some daily specials. Service was very good.
The pie was delicious as was my steak and Stilton ciabatta Sandwich and side order of massive homemade onion rings. My husbands chips were also amazing although I wasn't offered one.
There were a couple of elderly ladies who appeared to be regulars and they were really well looked after and fussed over by the staff which was lovely to see.
Would highly recommend.

Proud family run Restaurant in Northowram Halifax serving fantastic Italian & Mediterranean food for the past four years, we produce high quality fresh food with an open kitchen with some of the best chefs in Yorkshire, we also have a gluten free menu and children menu and between Tuesday and Friday we do 2 for 22, starter and main for two people for £22 before 7pm and great specials all reasonable prices.
I visited here with my mum, daughter and friend and we had a lovely meal. The service was good and they were very helpful when I told them that I was vegan as they said they cook everything from scratch. I had the pizza tomato garlic for starter and a really delicious risotto with vegetables for main. The remainder of my party were happy with their sea bass and the vegetarian option. The upstairs was cold but it was early and once it had filled up and we had our food we warmed up.

Wanting a weekend free of cooking - my husband suggested visiting here. He had visited a few years ago, and the Maypole being situated in the lovely area of Warley - seemed just the ticket. We were seated almost immediately though it was jammed packed - always a good sign. Then came the best surprise - the price. A very good quality 2 course selection for £12.95. I chose the melted brie followed by a chicken kiev, two amazingly great tasting dishes. Service was swift and efficient but always friendly. I really can't fault here

Kamran Balti House is a restaurant and takeaway located on Union Street in Halifax. Indian and fast food dishes are available. Kamran Balti House has been serving Indian food for nearly 25 years now, and has become well established and a must go for the surrounding areas.
The vegetarian Thali was amazing. A selection of curries, raita, bread, rice and even a sweet for £10. Poppadoms and pickle tray were complimentary. Friendly and efficient staff. Even order you a taxi. Would definitely recommend. Meat curries were good as well.

We are a family run business, with experienced and passion in Thai food. We pride ourself in making the best traditional Thai food with excellent value as well as offering a friendly service experience. Our bar served various of drinks, from fine wine and chilled Thai beers to liquor and whisky. The chef knows what Thai food should like, therefore any dish on the menu can be ordered with confidence and can always be changed to suit your specific liking. Of course they are certain dish that only Thai style does best, some of these are Tom Yam, Yam Nuea and Pla Samun Pri. Our staffs devour Thai food daily so they know the in's and outs's of every dish, never be afraid to ask! The best is just an order away!
A rainy wet cold night in Halifax and a warm.Tom Yam Soup gives an immediate warmth. Along with Pandan Leaf Chicken and stuffed chicken wings. Papaya salad is always on our table and really looking forward to the main courses. This is a gem of a restaurant that seems a lot quieter than it should be if you like Sams authentic Thai food. The staff are genuinely friendly and not over intrusive.

A stylish bar restaurant serving authentic thai cuisine fine wines and asian beers, including the world famous singha beer on draft. Situated 50 yards down the road is our take away where we offer a take away/delivery service.
2nd visit tonight, 1st visit about a month ago was overcharged on drinks allowed me to pay menu price which was cheaper than the bill but said would update menus for future visits. Menus still not updated tonight and again tried to charge me till price, after a quite heated debate saying they have to charge the till price because they pay tax on that, I stated that's not my problem. Following a phone call to manager, charged me the menu price which was lower. What is the point in having a menu with prices on if the prices in the till are higher!!!!!!! The staff also need to learn how to wait tables and not argue with customers!!
