Amazing restaurant, the boss, the Italian chef Daniele was really professional and friendly. We started eating some bruschetta as appetizers followed by calamarelle with special handmade sauce. Everything was prepared with harmony and passion , but the most delicious meal was the first dish âRisotto allâaragosta con agrumiâ. I really thing that Iâve never eaten something like this! As for the second dish we chose branzino al cartoccio in which all the ingredients were balanced in respect of the Italian tradition. Last but not least, Special dessert,âTIRAMISUâ. Also in this case coffee and cheese were balanced in a special way. So, if you wanna try something special , you need to come here, the staff is perfect , so friendly , Daniele and his wife Tessa, gave us a special dinner and so many advices for visiting Sanya as local. Great job. Amazing 10/10 . Reminiscent of a fine old bleached wood boathouse, Driftwood is open to the ocean, capturing the gentle breeze and adding it to a menu of fresh, succulent seafood and superb meats, all meticulously prepared and served. Dine indoors or outside under an umb
Ok: I am going to be short & sweet because I am writing this review only to warn other people. If you are a foodie DON'T go there. We went at this St. Regis restaurant, guests of a friend who was taking his holidays there. What can I say?1) Almost none (well, only one as it happens) of the waiters spoke English (yes, believe me, and this should be the St. Regis). 2) Waited a long time, then brought all the dishes together, even if we specifically say we didnât want them to be served together3) One of the dishes was pasta with tomato sauce and fish. Now, what arrived was completely another dish. Still pasta but with loads of cream and some other amenity. No dish listed on the menu (and that we ordered) anywhere to be seen. We pointed out this was not the plate we ordered. The answer was that the tomato sauce and the fish was finished so the chef decided to make another dish!!!!! I mean: can you believe it? This should be the St. Regis (again). Why they didnât come before, saying that the fish/sauce was finished? The chef must have though that, as almost all the clients were Chinese, they wouldnât have know the difference. Bad luckâ¦we are Europeans! 4) The pasta (not just the one mentioned above) was overcooked and tasteless.I can definitely say this has been the worst dining episode in my entire high-end hotel experiences. If I could, I would put zero dots but cannot.
An enchanting mix of natural wood, porcelain, black walnut, blue and white hues, smooth marble floors, and sparkling chandeliers, The Begonia All-Day Dining Restaurant showcases inspiring garden views while simultaneously offering Southeast Asian cuisine
The Begonia continental breakfast was totally a great surprise to a frequent traveler and hotel hopper like me. Normally I will pick some typical bread/butter, bacon & egg plus some fruits, sometimes with some local addon such as noddles. But I had 2-3 times more food than my normal hotel breakfast! As every single item, from smoothies, frozen yogurt and everything else, all nicely chosen and prepared. I will surely bring family back again & again to this place.

Pizza, Pasta, Grilled meats & seafood from the open kitchen ,accompanied by views of Sunny Bay.
As its name implies, the restaurant overlooks one of the several pools at the Hotel. A bright and relaxing space, the kitchen opens into the dining area. Excellent selection of cocktails/mocktails and juices, and a varied menu. We chose the Beef Burger, and a Chilli prawn pizza. Both were flavoursome, and well plated. All preceded by wonderful garlic bread. Pretty much standard fare, but well executed. Service tended to be slow, and the delay between drinks/garlic bread and mains was too long. Still, nice ambience, and the view, made the wait tolerable.
