We had a real treat here. Delicious food, terrific service, very clean and pleasantly decorated venue -- all with beautiful views. Prices are very reasonable with large portions. There is a winding road to get to this Arab village, but it is well worth the trip.

An authentic druze cuisine. ahlan wasahlan
The waiter went well out of there way to make us happy--describing in detail anything we were unsure of, repeatedly checking if we wanted more of the free flowing food. Appetizers were excellent. Main dishes were also good (one exception was the hears that were cooked dry). Altogether a very good experience.Thank you very muchWe were happy to welcome you and we will be happy to see you againElkheir
Where to eat Mediterranean food in Hof Carmel: The Best Restaurants and Bars

First things first, the staff. The lady looking after us was top drawer. Really kind, welcoming and offered great advice throughout. Pointless coming here if itâs to go for the obvious and/or easy back ups on their Italian dishes. Go crazy, listen to them, look around and see what others are eating and go for something you were not planning. Your taste buds will thank you. The house wine, local Cabernet was totally nice although after the fact I wish I had tried the Ramallah red as I might not get a chance again. I had booked for the terrace but quickly changed my mind on discovering the interior. Itâs pretty cool and well pretty cool.Verdict: A no braiser, go for it.Photos: the mains dishes (local) and the Shishbarak
Where to eat Pizza food in Hof Carmel: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We stumbled upon this restaurant after failing to find our first choice. Itâs located on the main street through town just around the corner from the Pizza Hut. The owner immediately greeted us with a welcome handshake. We enjoyed the usual Israeli specialties of hummus and falafel. We were given several freebies including Turkish salad, red and green diced cabbage, olives, and pickled cauliflower. And of course lots of fresh pita bread. Everything was delicious. So much food was brought to our table that we could hardly finish it. Portions are very generous, prices are on the inexpensive side, and there is a menu in English. Including the great service and friendly atmosphere, what more could you ask for? And not a tourist in sight. It was a great lunch.
Very high quality and friendly restaurant in the Druze village of Isfiya, not far from Haifa on mount Carmel. It is run by a mother and her son. Quite an extensive card that shows many typical Druze specialties , apart from the regular Middle - Eastern food. We had amongst other things kubeh (a type of spicy meat rolls in batter with a techina dip), really excellent hummus, tabouleh (salad with parsley and pomegranate seeds), stuffed cabbage leaves and stuffed wine leaves and cauliflower in techina sauce. All were delicious and filling. After the meal we were served coffee and a pastry. I can very much recommend this simple restaurant because of the atmosphere and the delicious food.
