First things first, the staff. The lady looking after us was top drawer. Really kind, welcoming and offered great advice throughout. Pointless coming here if itâs to go for the obvious and/or easy back ups on their Italian dishes. Go crazy, listen to them, look around and see what others are eating and go for something you were not planning. Your taste buds will thank you. The house wine, local Cabernet was totally nice although after the fact I wish I had tried the Ramallah red as I might not get a chance again. I had booked for the terrace but quickly changed my mind on discovering the interior. Itâs pretty cool and well pretty cool.Verdict: A no braiser, go for it.Photos: the mains dishes (local) and the Shishbarak

An authentic druze cuisine. ahlan wasahlan
The waiter went well out of there way to make us happy--describing in detail anything we were unsure of, repeatedly checking if we wanted more of the free flowing food. Appetizers were excellent. Main dishes were also good (one exception was the hears that were cooked dry). Altogether a very good experience.Thank you very muchWe were happy to welcome you and we will be happy to see you againElkheir

Rola was a pleasant surprise. It bills itself as a âLevantine kitchenâ, which made us believe that there would be lots of grilled meat, tehina, and humous. However, the food was not what we expected and we enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. Many of the dishes on the menu are vegetarian, and the meat dishes are light and mostly chicken and lamb. The salad we had was really fresh and seasoned perfectly. We had a lovely lunch here.

After reading the reviews we had high expectations, which were not met. Food is plentiful but taste was a mixed bag, some dishes and the bread were excellent, but some dishes, such as salmon, were disappointing. The owner is charismatic, we saw him giving marching orders to his staff, I believe in Arabic, at what seemed like the beginning of a shift. Service was good so they have that going, but the food is not that exciting. I would have much rather eat at a less pretentious middle eastern restaurant where they give you all sorts of salads when you arrive and the food is usually delicious.
