Cozy little spot near the mountains
Reviewed By Hadler VThis is a nice, small place near the beautiful mountain and Miesian parkin Gurye-gun that is worth a stay if for the service. Scott the owner is a very nice person, as is his wife. Scott also offers a typical Korean barbecue that you can book, and I recommend it. The man is skilled in the art or roasting. Good stay in a nice little pocket of nature.

Reviewed By kommuneansatt2016We had a lovely stay here, just after cherry blossom season, and went for several hikes in the Jirisan park. Excellent hotel, newly renovated, and with a receptionist that spoke fluid english. Rooms were very nice and the bed was terrific.

Hotel Jirisan Ahchim Ah-chim means 'Morning' in Korean but also it means 'Beautiful stay'. The hotelis located in Gurye, on its way towards Hwaeomsa-Temple, one of the oldest temple in South Korea. The hotel faces the Mt. Jiri, valley and Nogodan peak where you can watch sunrising.

Pension familiale confortable, les personnes sont charmantes, l’ambiance y est très agréable (musique classique, livres disponibles, poêle à bois, deco discrètement soignée, ...). Les chambres sont bien équipées, literie confortable, toilettes chauffantes, futon pour les enfants.

Reviewed By trippedonearthMy room was Hansil(traditional) with futons. The futons were covered with white sheet on the one side. And I doubt they change blankets whenever new guests come in. Pillows were covered with white sheets but the both ends of pillow were uncovered and showed a smudge. I couldn't sleep well with back ache. The futons were too thin. It's like to sleep on the bare stone. Peoples made a noise at night and morning. Just a iron door couldn't muffle it. Room floor was clean. The room has kitchenette and utensils. Stay again? Never!

Reviewed By Dong L18 USD for 4 men dormitory without breakfast through Hotels.com. About 20,000 won(19 USD) is a common price around the Jirisan. This was the only guesthouse I could find through the apps... such as Agoda, booking.com and expedia... so I had no choice within a budget. Very clean and good facilities. And rooftop is also very good for hangout. It has an elevator, thanks god. The owner is very kind. If it is not a season, there are less guests there... So I could use the whole room alone. 뭐 앱을 통해서 예약할 수 있는 데가 이곳 한곳뿐이어서... 지리산 주변에 게스트하우스가 꽤 있긴하지만 대부분 예약식으로 운영하고 있어서 말이지.... 어쩔 수 없이 여기를 선택하기는 했지만, 가보니 아침이 없다할 뿐이지 꽤 괜찮더라... 시설로만 보자면 게스트하우스라기보다는 고급 모텔에 가까웠지만 약 18달러, 즉 2만원 정도. 다른 데도 이 정도 가격이다. 지리산 주변은 말이다. 4인 도미토리 객실이었다. 운이 좋게도 그 객실을 나혼자 썼다. 뭐 2만원에 모텔에서 잔거나 마찬가지였다. 시설 좋다!!! 침구 깨끗했다. 라커고 있고 기본적으로 갖출 건 갖췄다. 특히 욕실은 좋은 편임. 원래 모텔의 한 객실이었음을 알 수 있다. 이걸 4인 돔으로 바꾼 거지... 등산 후 옥상에서 바라보는 정망도 꽤 좋았다. 옥상도 잘 해놓았고... 여기서 사람들하고 얘기도하고 그럴 수 있겠더라...

오래되었지만 깨끗한 숙소
Reviewed By Js_Hongg오래된 숙소라는 것이 느껴지기는 하지만 관리가 잘 되어 있는 편이라 깨끗합니다. 다만 산속에 있어서 거미나 나방같은 벌레들이 많기는 하네요. 무엇보다도 밤에 별이 정말 잘보입니다. 그것 하나만으로도 이 숙소는 가볼 가치가 충분해요. 지하에 CU도 있어서 밤에도 음식을 살 수 있습니다.

Reviewed By OliviaG1591Host was extremely kind and helpful in helping us get around to transportation and gives great recommendations on the local hiking trails. Simple breakfast of eggs and toast with jam is available (self serviced). Room was very comfortable and warm.
