Old-fashioned restaurant, somewhat stuffy with knickknacks, a survivor from Minakami's better times. Counter with ten barstools, plus rooms with Japanese-style seating on the floor. Television on low sound setting always running in a corner. Fresh ingredients from both the Sea of Japan and the Pacific. Kirin beer on tap and non-alcohol bottles available. Moriawase (chef's recommended samplers) of sashimi and sushi both very good (3,500 JPY per person including drinks).

Nothing fancy here. reasonable prices and clean atmosphere. Food is decent, but for the price can't complain. Good place to bring kids, but keep them away from the fire. They do have an English menu. Friendly service staff. ¥2,800 / person Dinner
