Yesterday we happened to be at Gandhinagar and if one would be there and would not enjoy the hospitality of Fortune In Haveli then its her misfortune . So religiously we entered the very well arranged and furnished Orchid dining hall having a lovely ambience . A waiter asked us our choice of soup and brought me my Murg Adraki Shorba and Mancho soup to Vaijayanti . We were served with Hara Bhara Kebab and Chicken Tikka as starter . Both of them had their juice intact.I indulged with Dahi Bhalla which melted in my mouth , Fruit Chat , Papadi Chat , Roasted Corn & Capsicum , and Tomato Mint . vaijayanti liked and savoured Spicy Noodle Salad . As a main course I tasted Chicken in Chicken Biryani ,Burani Raita , Green Curry , Fish in Oyster Sauce , Machchhi Mirch Masala and Mutton Tariwala . Fish was really succulent . Mutton was tender and chicken was so very well cooked that it was effortless to remove flesh from the bones . Vaijayanti could not enjoy her very well appealing potato as chef forgot to add salt .There were many mouth watering desserts : Gulabjamun we loved much . I tasted Anjeer Mawa Roll which was very well fresh and demanded more attention from me . Boondi Coconut Ladoo , Cream Caramel , Gulab Penda ,Kiwi Mouse , Orange Pudding , Pineapple Grating and Pista Barfi were other items we enjoyed . It was a sumptuous buffet we enjoyed to the bottom of our heart .Though washroom was little bit away it was clean and ultramodern .

Many locals complain that the food isn't that nice. I beg to differ. The chef uses a different combination of spices and flavours making the food quite exquisite. Meal prices are reasonable. However, drinks, breads, and extras are totally overpriced. The staff aren't very accommodating. Simple requests like chilli on a pizza cannot be done. Also, don't bother phoning to book a table. Nobody answers the phone. The TVs in the restaurant are disturbing and affects the ambience negatively.

This place is located in the developing area of Gandhinagar city. I had located this place on the basis of reviews given by people on the other websites. And I wasnt disappointed with that. Food is good, ambience is fine and staff is friendly. It was a nice family outing during weekend. Their menu has many options to offer and suggest to go for special dishes of the restaurant.
