So leaving this review, I saw the "pretentious and not good" review from April. This restaurant is exceedingly good - both in the food, and priced in line or cheaper than the other high end restaurants in Acapulco. And through several visits, this level of excellence has been consistent, so I don't understand the negativity. Our service, helmed by Candido and supported by Carlos and Yonathan, was attentive and well paced for a relaxing dinner. From tasty pre-dinner cocktails to an incredible dessert, all was top notch. Yes the food is presented artfully - that is the point of going someplace that is trying to impress on you the effort they are making. But it does more than look the part - the tastes were fresh, interesting and unique. The highlights were the ceviche verde starter, the asada negro and the dulce de leche desert. All went well with a bottle from a wine list that had enough to provide choice but not be voluminous. Between the spectacular view, the service and the food, this restaurant rates as high as I can give it and them some. I would tell any and all who want a special night out to go to Origen.Good afternoon dear RFNJ, It is a pleasure writing you from Encanto.Thank you very much for sharing your experience at Origen with other travelers. It is an honor for us receiving such good comments like yours. We hope your visit was pleasant and you enjoyed everything in your dinner. We hope to have you again in this your house in Acapulco and let us pamper you as you deserve.Thank you for being part of our family!Alfredo CortésRestaurants Manager

A friend and I had dinner this evening at La Concha, a friendly neighborhood restaurant, and fell in love with it instantly. The staff made us feel like regulars---popular regulars right away! They steered us through the menu chock full of tempting choices. My companion isn't fond of seafood, but was happy to find tuna steaks listed while I couldn't resist trying a shrimp dish I'd never tried before. We were both delighted with our choices, and my "no seafood for me" friend gladly took home his para llevar to enjoy tomorrow. If you're a resident, business regular, or tourist, do yourself a favor and stop by for a delicious meal. But don't wait too late 'cause La Concha closes at 7:00 pm. Get there in time for fun and fabulous dining!

Highly recommended as an excellent seafood restaurant. Suggestion for menu selection were a filet of fish wrapped around and stuffed with shrimp and octopus or a rice and seafood dish with fresh shrimp, squid, octopus and fish. I ordered the stuffed fish and the wife ordered the rice dish. Both were delivered to the table within in a minute from the time the waiter took the order â first sign of disappointment on its way. Next the first bite by both of use assured us that the meal had been prepared long, long before we arrived and was now cold. My stuffed fish had a very bad fishy taste and wifeâs rice dish looked like someone has scrapped the leftovers of the other diners into her plate. None of her shrimp had bodies, just the heads. After a brief exchange with the waiter and the manager, the dishes were exchanged for shrimp cocktails, which were not much better tasting than the original order. Will never recommend this place to anyone and for certain will never step foot inside again.

In Buzos restaurant bar our specialty is the seafood, which we prepared to the guerrerense style, with the unique touch of our restaurant, which has allowed us to create exclusive flavors that you can only find here, we sample our Costa Azul sauces, Mango
I had been wanting to try this place for a couple years. We went to the new location on the Costera across from El Sol de Acapulco. We all had the shrimp wrapped in bacon with cheese. 8 large, delicious, sweet scrumptious shrimp were on my plate. One of our diners also had a shrimp and pulpo cocktail. The small could easily be shared. The menu had an excellent variety. I will definitely return to this Restaurant.Thank you for visit us, we'll be waiting for you to come back, to share incredible moments and a lot of delicious seafood.Wish you nothing but success.

This restaurant is a gem! Manolo and his team run a spotless restaurant that serves up easily the best food on the beach. We come for the weekend every couple of months and this restaurant is the reason why! Every dish is absolutely delicious, good sized portions and incredible value for money. This restaurant is where we always set up for the day. They will happily provide hammocks, chairs and tables. Why eat and drink anywhere else? They are also ready to take requests so if you fancy something on the menu Manolo's amazing chef will do it for you (I can highly recommend Manolo's famous burger with ´the works´!). The cocktails (especially the piña coladas) are out of this world as are the artisenal ice creams for desert. Every Sunday before we leave we have the flame grilled huachinango. It is so fresh it is literally leaping off the BBQ!We consider Manolo and his team family and will continue returning to this piece of paradise for as long as possible (hopefully for many years to come). Te extraño La ola de buen sabor!

We head out to Villa Rubi for something different as we have had the same pie de la cuesta routine for 11 years. Saw some nice pictures and a #2 rating for restaurant's and figured why not. Well if anyone has kids the pool with the slides has alge in it all green in water and it is cement on the bottom. Continue walking past the bocci court very nicely set up while continuing to the pool area and deck overlooking the playa. Fair pool though needed a better cleanining job and the deck was tiny a group of 10 only had 1 lounger out and 2 chairs. Our group was there for some sun ,pool and lunch w/ drinks. There is a very large covered area with tables and chairs for at least 60 or 70 to sit and eat at. I am sure they have good food and drinks. Bottom line we were there up on the deck for 10 or 15 min after our driver dropped us off and many staff observed us walking in and no one seemed to take charge. There was just a young man telling our driver where to park. I had given a coutesy e-mail 1 week prior of our planned visit and arrival time and it was promptly answered which impressed me. Anyway we basically sat for 15 min for anyone to approach with just a welcome and finally decided to leave. Headed back to Vayma. If it isn't broke don't fix it. This is about the furthers place in Pie de la cuesta perhaps 3 miles past Tres Marias.

Restaurante y club de ski especializado en comida mexicana y platillos de la región y conocido por su Pescado a la talla. Contamos con: - Paso en lancha. - Clases de ski (slalom, wakeboard). - Alberca. - Paddle board.
I've been to this restaurant many times and have always enjoyed it. For the 1st time I've tried the Huachinango ala talla which was terrific and a portion made for 2 hungry people. With The chips and salsa along with terrific guacamole I wasn't in a canavoris mood lol. Anyway it was delicious the snapper although IMO over priced at 600 peso. I would stick with the ceviche along with fish tacos and probably try the beachside restaurant next time.
