Near the 'regenerated' (rebuild) area of Malecon Simon Bolivar and in the ground floor of Hotel Ramada you can find this "Typical Ecuadorian" restaurant. I have visit the place a couple of times and even take my visiting friends here if we end up close to the Malecon. Typical food, such as ceviche, is great. Portions are on the small side and service could, and should, be faster. Price is ok.PROS: Location & food tasteCONS: Small Portion SizeDear LostSpaniardThank your for writing your review of our Restaurant, it is nice to read that the food was good, we had made some changes in the portions of our plates to give a better experience to our customers. We look forward to serve you soon,General Manager

Peruvian gourmet cousine specialized in seafood.
If you like ceviches and tiraditos this place is perfect for that. They also have lots of great seafood dishes. Their food is always fresh, their service is good. Great for a business lunch.

The restaurant serves amazingly tasty traditional Ecuador food. The variety of natural juice is also amazing. I recommend the lemonade and coconut ( for drink) with the plantain and cream cheese for entree and all their main dishes. Really memorable

We dined here and had a wonderful experience. You can set indoors or outside near the water. Service was really good. Cocktail prices very very expensive so we opted for a bottle of wine which was a better value. The ceviche here was great, better than in Peru. We shared a green salad with strawberries, orange slices, avocado and lettuce which was easily big enough to share. My husband had shrimp and rice which was delicious. I had mar y tierra ( surf and turf) which came with risotto and was also quite good, especially the beef. The mains are quite large servings.

When everything on the menu (including appetizers) is $13-17 you know you are in an expensive restaurant. We took a cab to this restaurant on the recommendation of trip advisor and while I was not disappointed in the meal itself, I was a bit shocked at the prices. Also, I agree with another reviewer who said to get the crabs simply boiled and no sauce, which I did not do and ordered the garlic sauce. Wish I hadn't because it was just way too over powering. Still the whole experience was a good one (and the service was excellent) but I think I would try another place next time.

This is the formerly known âTratoria da Enricoâ which a couple of decades ago was one of the top restaurants in Guayaquil. While their infrastructure and menu remain basically the same, it has not aged well.Menu is extensive and wine list is acceptable, however certain dishes are not quite up to the standard a business of this category should present to their customers.Personally I stick to a âmixto di mareâ appetizers and a seafood pasta which I believe are the restaurants still signature dishes. If you want to have lunch in Urdesa give this place a try

Excellent service and menu selections for a first class restaurant. The Caesar salad was just OK, but the rest of the meal was perfect. We had both varieties of Corvina and they were both winners. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with others, we really appreciate your time. We are very pleased that both our menu and the service given by our staff have been to your liking. We look forward to returning soon.

Fantastic restaurant with superb service. All of our meals were excellent. Started off with banana chips with sauces. The very best banana chips I have ever tasted. We had the small salad and it was very unique with a tasty dressing. I ordered the lomo saltado estilo peruano. Tasted just like the lomo saltado in Peru but maybe even better. The flan was the best flan I have ever tasted. It had a coconut crust. I highly recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed.
