Jakeâs offers the top culinary experience in Central America, with spectacular interiors and exteriors, as well as an incomparable cocktail lounge.
Passing through Guatemala City and staying near Jakeâs. Came for dinner and was not disappointed. My only real disappointment is that they are closed tonight, the Day of the Dead. The meal was excellent.Met Jake after dinner in the bar and he was affable and friendly. His long connection with Guatemala made for some fascinating discussion. Hopefully when I return, he will be open againThank you Stuart! I'm pleased that you enjoyed your experience here at Jake's, and great chatting with you.I would also like to thank you for your time and effort in helping the people of Guatemala. Bless you!Jake

Had an excellent meal here last Saturday night. Very tasty and tender squid as a starter ("calamares") followed by an excellent, fresh and perfectly cooked sea bass ("robalo"), followed by custard ("crême brulée") and coffee ("cortadito"). The wine was a Sancerre. None of this terribly unusual as a menu item, nor did it come served in fancy peudo "nouvelle-cuisine" presentations: it was just good food with excellent service. And it is nice to be in a restaurant which is quiet, where one can enjoy one's conversation without background music to distract. Although it is one of the most expensive restaurants in the capital, you get your money's worth.

Had lunch yesterday and it was fantastic. Had the shrimp ravioli. Very rich but excellent. Service was great also. The waiter gave us several options for balsamic vinegar to add to the olive oil for the bread. Very nice atmosphere with open windows. I will be back!

The perfect place for food and design lovers
Saul Bistro was a wonderful surprise. I didn't realize you could find such unique and creative dining in Guatemala. We had a group of 13 and ordered a wide variety of different items and all were great. The lemonade with mint was outstanding. Service was very good, prices great, and food out of this world. Highly recommended.

Mediterranean spirit
This is a nice restaurant with many details in decoration, beautiful! With interior and exterior areas to enjoy a good meal with family and friends. A vintage style. At the center of the restaurant, there is an ancient beautiful tree, giving the restaurant a beautiful and natural concept. There is a wide menu with many options of food, Mediterranean type. Good pizza and pastas. Also fresh beverages and desserts. Although, I think prices are a bit high for the food quality. The exterior area is ideal for a weekend gathering with family or a group of friends. Personel well prepared to give customers a good service. Medium range prices, main course around $20, an eggplant dish for $11.

Experience the gastronomic culture of Mediterranean cuisine. Pizzas prepared at the moment in the Stone Oven, where the flavor and colors combine in a pleasant ambience.
This restaurant is a good option to taste the Italian food, it was a pleasant experience, to taste pasta with a Spanish wine, the combination is wonderful, the prices are fair, it is not cheap or expensive, it has an extensive wine list and Italian food , they have a menu only for stone flame oven, so it is recommended.
