Guatemala City draws visitors whose interests range from Maya history to contemporary culture. Two museums house Maya artifacts, some of which were discovered on a nearby archaeological site. Other museums exhibit indigenous and modern art. In Mercado Central, an underground market, shoppers bargain with vendors selling local handicrafts. Additional attractions include a botanical garden and a scale replica of the Eiffel Tower. A night out in bustling Zona Viva caps off a day of sightseeing.

An icon in Guatemala for more than 20 years. We offer the most delicious steaks in the country in a unique and beautiful ambiance That reacreates the colonial haciendas of latin america. Let our excellent staff serve and pamper you in a unique eating experience. A true delight for all the senses.
Filet was good not the best I’ve ever had though. Soup with cilantro was great. They brought that out as a starter along with salsa but no chips to go with it. Service was extremely slow. Waiter was nice but couldn’t ever find him. The atmosphere was excellent and worth the wait. Trees in the middle of the restaurant along with a live band. (Thursday evening).

The service here is impeccable, as you'd expect from a restaurant long patronized by the elite. The decor is Antigua-style colonial wiht modern comforts. The food is beautifully prepared. Desserts are limited. Most of the dining is under the arches of the outdoor patio in a beautifully landscaped courtyard. There is more parking than you might think, in a lot off to the side.

Discover the best kept secrets of Japanese cuisine in a intimate yet relaxed atmosphere for enjoying the cuisine and oriental specialties.
Don't look at the fish in the sushi bar unless you have lots of wasabi. The salmon didnt look so great and aside from the tuna there was eel and kani (imitation crab meat) - the only fresh fish was snook aka robalo. We had some take out lunches that were decent and had nice vegetables included with beef teriyaki.

Unquestionably the best meat in town, and after the latest wave of price adjustments across the board, the prices here are quite reasonable. Ordering the "Pyrex de Mixto", will give you the best range of flavor. I ask for mine "5/8" cooked. Favorite dessert here...MoreThank you for your review, is very important for us knowing about your experience in our resturant to make it better every time.

Don't expect fancy decorations and your up the notch steak place. While Donde Joselito is roomy and can greet more than 100 people you should expect to wait from 20-30 minutes to be seated. The place is packed!
Serving more than 500 pounds per day, the meat is excellent and service great!

Real Greek and mediterranean home cooking!!! New management...Chef Yanakis(R) will take you back to Mykonos and Santorini!!!
a very large variety of dishes, more than 250 different ones between appetizers and mains, prices are affordable, portions are generous ( very ), the Owner is almost all the time there, friendly person, will make your experience formidable.
most evenings there is a trio playing and singing soft latin music, on Fridays ( I believe ) they have another singer with guitar who plays very nice and diverse music ( his name is Vinicio ). very friendly staff, very pleasing too. The Owner has a philosophy that when you go to a restaurant is because you want something different from what you prepare at home and that you want to be pampered and not having to do the dishes, treated properly with EDIBLE food and generous portions, you should not leave this place hungry by any means.
Overall it is a great experience, not to be missed, it is also centrally located in the Zona Viva ( sort of tourist area ) close to several first class hotels like Radisson next door,
Courtyard by Marriott across the street, Holiday Inn 1/2 bloc away, Hyatt Regency 1 block away, InterContinental 2 blocks away, etc.
we have been going there already a few times and keep going back.

We had calamari and Serrano ham croquettes as entrees. Both were very well presented on the plate. Sorry I didn't take pictures. But the taste was outstanding. We then ordered Shrimp Risotto and Shrimp with coconut and tamarindo sauce. Both were delicious. The ambiance was nice. The Maitre D was French so I loved his accent and was very helpful and nice. Suggested we try a Chilean wine which was a very good choice. We enjoyed our lunch and would definitely go back.
