This is an authentic and established venue in Nanning City and very well patronised by local and Hong Kong customers.- it is a large establishment, airy, well appointed and open from morning until late.Traditional Honk Kong-style fare is served and very well prepared and presented.- however, by being traditional Chinese there is no western food available but highly recommended for foreigners who are not accustomed to this type of cuisine.Always very busy and until around noon mostly packed. Its on the fourth floor, accessible by lift from the off street side of Minzu da Dao # 41.We have been going to this place with Chinese and foreign friends for a long time and always enjoyed being there sampling their extensive offerings.P.S. this Restaurant is managed by a Hong Kong couple and their son Eric.(English speaking)* for what its worth besides the various tees and soft drinks they also have beer by the bottle. Please Note: it goes by the name: XIANG JIANG HUI
Dao Chang Sha is a Hunan food restaurant and is one of famous restaurant in Nanning. The restaurant is near the Guangxi University, and is in the shopping mall. The location is very convenient to find. As there are many clients,so the service is a little slow. The food are spicy but very delcious. I like to eat the Dancing shrimp and Boiled fish, the envirenment is clean and good .

The amazing feature of this restaurant was the availability of small rooms for groups on the second floor, where one had one's own server and complete privacy. The food we were offered was all chosen by the host, and while it was diverse and generous in its servings, (vegetable dishes, meat dishes, fish dishes) some of it was very spicy, and so I couldn't comment on its quality. Clearly, the restaurant is popular, because it was crowded when we arrived and when we left.
This restaurant is beautiful and interesting. I would love to know the history of the building. The menu is a stunning photo album. We sat in the lower level outside to the sounds of waterfall and bird song. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Rong Yue has become our go-to restaurant in Nanning, in the MixC shopping center - the number one upmarket mall in Nanning, new busy and with many name brand stores. Rong Yue is large clean, nicely decorated with pleasant and fast service, it is always busy and generally has a queue between 7-8pm however you can take a number and window shop for the 10-30 minutes it takes for a seat. The menu is bi-lingual, always a bonus in 3rd tier Chinese cities. We have eaten here at least weekly for the past 5 months and never had a bad meal. If you don't hit the seafood expect to pay rmb100- rmb200 for 2 including several beers. It is as authentic Sichuan as you will get anywhere outside Sichuan or Chongqing
We visited late and decided to have some noodles and pork dumplings. Staff was friendly. Menu had English translations and pictures which helped. Food was simple and tasty. Located on the food street, it was close to the Marriott hotel. Prices were very reasonable and the beers were cold. I would visit again for a late night meal.

Great place for brunch, with lots of dim sum options. Easy ordering, fast service, reasonable prices. We ordered a selection of dim sum varieties, and everything was delicious. Standout dish was the bbq pork puffs, rhe outside was deliciously flaky, with just the right amount of bbq pork inside.
