if youy want to eat of your hotel, whic i would recommnend if you are not in the holiday inn, i suggest you try here, it is in close proximity to the holiday inn, it has all the usual mexican dishes and they are well served, and value for money is excellent

After staying in Mexico for over a month, the taste buds tend to get used to Mexican cuisine. Dining in Chic N Cheap is such a very good time out from Mexican foods. I ordered grilled chicken and my partner opted for sirloin steak. They are delicious! The vegetable salad was crispy fresh, with vinaigrette the way i liked it. You can make the steak Mexican though, by dabbing the steak with any or all of the 3 kinds of Mexican salsa separately served. Service was topnotch. It is a small restaurant in the Comercio Mexicana area along Faja de Oro Blvd. where there are lots of other restaurants. The taxi driver may not be familiar with the restaurant's name but tell him "Mexicana Faja de Oro" (which is a big supermarket) and he will bring you to the trendy dining and shopping area here in Salamanca and from there you will see Steak House Chic N Cheap. They also have an outdoor seating but inside is just as comfortable. I noticed there are lots of Asian diners. it seems the steaks really suit their taste. And lastly, they have a wide selection of liquors, imported and local.

Visita recurrente cuando visito la Plaza. Cuando quiero comer comida y no una hamburguesa...cortes generosos a buen precio con hasta tres acompañamientos bien generosos. Esta vez tocaron milanesa de pollo a la napolitana y empanadas de carne. Satisfecho en todo los sentidos por ese precio
