1. Place is very nice with awesome views to San Miguel de Allende2. Food was OK to GOOD, not the best. The setting makes the food get cold quite fast. 3. Service is good with some people with some staff with attitude.4. Totally wrong the attitude of the staff at the entrance. They will make you wait for your table just for the sake of making you wait. Tables available, place half empty and we had to wait about 15 minutes. Go back? Probably... 100% looking forward to do it... The place to be for breakfast, lunch or dinner, Andanza is a destination in its own right. It boasts an impressive array of awards and accolades. Artfully prepared dishes are served in an elegant, colonial-style setting. Cuisine celebrates Mexican traditi
We enjoyed a great late breakfast at Andanza. The colonial style of Casa de Sierra Nevada with its detail oriented service and delicious food makes this a great place to enjoyed a relax breakfast/brunch away from crowds. The hotel has also a nice bar. It closes early, 11pm, but it is a quiet place to enjoy a drink.Prices are very reasonable.

Hank's is the new name of the famous Harry's Restaurant with 12 years of history in Mexico, since 1999 in San Miguel Allende and since 2004 in Queretaro. Hank's is a bit of Louisiana and its "French Quarter", which offers the traditional Cajun cuisine fro
There is something a little bit Casablanca about this place. We hesitated to try it because why come to San Miguel de Allende for New Orleans style food, but the reality is Hankâs is a world within a world and very much of the place where it sits. We had a window seat, watching the parade of locals and visitors stroll the street. Servers were attentive without being overbearing. So, the perfect amount of attention. Cocktails were as good as it gets. Dinner comes with a bottle of wine. In the heat it seems you burn alcohol quicker. So we were not done in by drinking more than usual. The food was superb. I rarely have a chance to taste sweetbreads as I never see them on menus where we roam, so gave them a chance. Truly delicious. Overall, this restaurant hits every note. Any time we return to SMA, we will go back. It is that wonderful.Thank you for visiting us! It's been a pleasure to serve you. Hope to see you soon back.

Everyone raves about the ginger and tamarind margaritas and rightly so.They were delicious.Old-style cantina given a modern makeover and well worth the journey up a very steep hill especially if you cheat in a taxi like we did. Some great old-fashioned ballads being played on the sound system as well made it a cool spot to linger on a hot afternoon.A little soulless however and the staff, whilst not unfriendly, could have been more welcoming - hopefully their excellent TA reviews are not being taken for granted.

We offer quality food with great atmosphere in the heart of San Miguel de Allende!
We like to graze and share different items, so this was the perfect place to us. There was always someone ready to take our order or reorder of food and wine. Very efficient. We shared the steak appetizer on toast, the olives, the pork belly, the olives, the jamon and tomato appetizer, and the grilled octopus. We will definitely return. They take reservations via Facebook messenger, so it is very easy to get in touch.

On a warm summer night we decided to have a late dinner. We were treated to excellent service, gorgeous church steeple views and delicious food. The jicama tacos are their signature dish and provide more content and flavour than their rather bland name would indicate. So good were the surprise shrimp pieces and salsa that we ordered a second round after sharing the equally well-prepared octopus. The server described this dish as being boiled and then a sauce added. When we commented that boiled octopus sounded kind of squishy and not very appetizing and preferring it grilled, he said...no problem and it arrived deliciously grilled and sauced. Accompanied by slices of baguette, this dish would be better paired with something lighter like olives or cucumbers or pita bread. Background music of jazz classics was perfect for a delightful evening. We didnât happen to be bothered by smokers during our visit but smoking is permitted and could possibly ruin the experience for some. The food is too good to be spoiled by secondhand smoke.

Bar/restaurant focusing on Mezcal. Over 70 different bottles and a variety of mezcal based cocktails. A short and interesting with mexican flavours at its core.
Back visiting in San Miguel de Allende and stopped to visit San Mezcal again. Everything was so good!!! From the guacamole to tacos to jicama salad...it doesn't matter what plate you order...it is all so good you'll want to come back for more!Last time I was here I didn't try any of the drinks, but I'm glad I did this time. I had a tamarind margarita and a "something" mule. (Can't remember actual name of drink).

Sometimes a rooftop spot gets really built up then it falls short. Totally not the case here. Expertly crafted cocktail, weâre talking top level crafting are a must. The food is also excellent, though more of a tapas and snack variety. Itâs pricey by San Miguel standards but the view, drinks and service is the reason. It definitely fills up!

Bringing the best of the outdoors inside, Restaurante del Parque lives up its name. Embrace the traditional flavors of México in a relaxed, elegant setting. A delicious menu is complemented by a stunning drink selection, making it the perfect venue for co
This restaurant is inside a small hotel but non-residents can dine here. A charming setting with the dining area bordering an inner garden. For dinner we had guacamole for starters and it was a huge serving unlike what we would get here in Toronto. Enough to last you through you meal and they kept topping up the nachos. My husband and I had roasted chicken coated with a pumpkin seed and amaranth crust - absolutely delicious and the vegetables were grilled perfectly. Sadly we were too full to try dessert. A charming little restaurant, service is good.Dear Lyn P:Thank yo for taking time to review our Restaurante del Parque and delighted to read that you had a good dining experience and that the service met your expectations. The chicken is pretty good isn´t it? Come back soon!
