Had the good fortune to visit the creamery to not only watch gelato being made, but also sampled many extremely delicious flavors.

Our host at our B&B, who is also a chief, recommended this place. We expected good Thai. We got great Thai ,comparable to the best Thai we've eaten any where in the world,
Plan on going early and don't be put-off by the facade or decor. GO FOR THE FOOD!! We ordered a variety of dishes including dessert. Everything was wonderful.

We arrived in this lovely town late and our hostess told us to eat soon as everything closes early. We chose this pizzeria and were not disappointed. Freshly made and tasted divine....we had the medium between us and still took some back. If you are there it is a definite stop.

We are still basking in the after glow of a wonderful dinner, friendly people and great service. I ordered off the Cafe Menu and my husband ordered from the dinner menu, which comes with soup and salad. The soup was amazing, a cold peach soup. Salad was an heirloom tomato with fresh basil and mozzarella cheese. His entree was lobster and shrimp with drawn butter. Presentation was wonderful and everything cooked to perfection. I had the salmon with avocado plate, cooked also to perfection. Truly a memorable experience.

We were searching for a restaurant for Saturday night dinner with our son's family that included a 1-year old and 6-year old. They were very accommodating of us all. There was a kids' menu, reasonably priced menu, all with white clothed tablecloths. Unfortunately, our credit card was left there, but they had it the next day. Salmon was very good.

It's not directly on CA-1, a short walk from Surf Motel. Almost the locals recommend this. We had enjoyed the dinner. They have sitting inside and great cook. Phone just keep ringing while we were waiting.

When I arrived about 50 minutes before they were scheduled to close, the place was deserted. Only one guy mopping the floor. I said "Are you still serving?" and he ambled to the back to ask if they would cook me dinner.
Everybody else that straggled in got the same treatment, though, asking the kitchen permission to cook another meal.
The food when it came was ok, but nothing outstanding.

We had 2 great deli sandwiches. We ordered one ham and cheese on flat bread and one roast beef on flat bread. The custom sandwiches were delicious and the deli staff was amazing. The is a full service grocery store that has a deli and Peets coffee that was also fantastic.

Very nice place, not much on fancy decor but the service and food more than make up for the plain decor. Plain but homey. The owners, Maria and Joaquin, are committed to serving good food with friendliness. Their daughter, Carina, and her husband, Rafael, both work there and definitely uphold the " service with a smile " attitude. The food is fresh and you can watch them make it if you are curious. Everything I've tried here is tasty, from burritos to hamburgers to baked goods. I suspect the French fries start out frozen but that's hardly a mark against them since most places use frozen fries. They have a whole fish that a friend of mine raves about; its on my list of dishes to try. The menu is not huge but there is something for every taste on it, and it's all good. And very inexpensive, not a budget-breaker.
